A touch display apparatus comprises a touch display structure and a touch controller electrically connected thereto. The touch display structure comprises a display layer, an electric circuit layer, and a second electrode. The electric circuit layer, disposed under the display layer, comprises a substrate, a driving electrode, and a first electrode. The driving electrode and the first electrode are disposed on an upper surface and a lower surface of the substrate, respectively, and are electrically connected to the touch controller, respectively. The second electrode is disposed under the first electrode and electrically connects to the touch controller. The first electrode and the second electrode generate a touch control signal in response to a press of a user or an electromagnetic signal. The touch controller receives and processes the touch control signal, and then, the touch controller transmits the touch control signal to the driving electrode to drive the display layer.

The present invention relates to a touch display apparatus, which is including a display unit and a touch unit installed under the display unit. The display unit includes a first substrate and a second substrate installed in parallel. The touch unit includes a third substrate installed under the second substrate in parallel, and a plurality of first electrodes and a plurality of second electrodes separately installed on the lower surface of the second substrate and on the upper surface of the third substrate and facing each other. When a user touches the display unit of the electronic reading apparatus, the display unit will have a local deformation accordingly, the first electrode and the second electrode touch each other, and thus a touch signal is generated. Therefore, a touch function can be achieved.

An electrophoretic display device includes an electrophoretic displaying layer, a photoconductive layer and a top electrode layer. The electrophoretic displaying layer includes a number of pixels. The top electrode layer and the photoconductive layer are respectively disposed at two opposite sides of the electrophoretic displaying layer. The photoconductive layer includes a number of photoconductive units spaced apart from each other. Each of the pixels corresponds to at least one photoconductive units. The present invention also provides a method for manufacturing the electrophoretic display device and a method for driving the electrophoretic display device.

This invention discloses a method to add and display an advertisement content in an electronic book. The method comprises the following steps. First, a content of a book and a content of an advertisement is provided. Next, the content of the book and the content of the advertisement are digitalized to form an electronic book. Then, an order to advertise the content of the advertisement is set. Finally, a displaying condition is set for displaying the content of the advertisement when the electronic book is read in an electronic paper display.

An electrophoretic display apparatus includes a bottom substrate, an electrophoretic layer, a color filter substrate and a spacing layer. The bottom substrate has a drive circuitry layer, and the electrophoretic layer is disposed on the drive circuitry layer of the bottom substrate. The color filter substrate is disposed above the electrophoretic layer, and the spacing layer is disposed between the color filter substrate and the electrophoretic layer. The electrophoretic display apparatus has better display quality.

An e-book under an external light having an intensity is provided. The e-book includes a memory module storing data; an input/output interface electrically connected to the memory module, inputting the data to the memory module, and outputting the data from the memory module; an e-paper module electrically connected to the memory module, and displaying the data; a power device electrically connected to the e-paper module and the memory module, and providing a power output; and a photosensor electrically connected to the power device, having a threshold value, and sensing the intensity of the external light, wherein when the sensed intensity is lower than the threshold value, the power device reduces the power output.
