    摘要: An ink jet recording material having excellent smoothness and gloss and capable of recording thereon ink images having high color density clarity, water resistance and sharpness comparative to the silver salt photographic images has a recording stratum formed on a substrate and comprising a single ink receiving layer or a plurality of ink receiving layers superposed on each other and containing a pigment and a binder, at least one ink receiving layer containing fine particles of at least one pigment selected from silica, aluminosilicate, and &agr;-, &thgr;-, &dgr;- and &ggr;-aluminas and having an average particle size of 1 &mgr;m or less and optionally a light resistance-enhancing agent for images including at least one of phenolic compounds, boric acid, borate salts and cyclodextrin compounds.

    摘要: An ink jet recording material having an excellent ink absorbing property and capable of recording ink images with superior gloss, water resistance and light resistance has an outermost ink receiving layer formed on a support and containing (1) fine pigment particles selected from amorphous silica secondary particles and alumina silicate secondary particles which have an average secondary particle size of 10 to 300 nm and in each of which a plurality of primary particles having an average primary particle size of 3 to 40 nm are agglomerated with each other, (2) an ultraviolet ray absorber and, optionally, (3) an antioxidant.

    摘要: An image-receiving sheet for thermal dye-transfer recording using a sublimable dye is disclosed, comprising a support having thereon an image-receiving layer for receiving a transferred image from a coloring material-transferring sheet, wherein said image-receiving layer is a layer formed by coating a substantially solvent-free coating composition comprising (A) a macromonomer dyeable with a sublimable dye and containing a radical polymerizable functional group at one terminal of the molecular chain thereof, said macromonomer being solid at room temperature, dissolved in (B) a liquid radiation-curable monomer and/or oligomer on a support and irradiating the coat with radiation. The image-receiving sheet has high surface gloss, undegoes no blocking with the coloring material-transferring sheet, and provides a recorded image having high density and excellent storage stability.
