摘要： An ink tank is provided which can apply an optimum negative pressure stably by a valve of a simple structure. To this end, the ink tank of this invention has a valve and a damper section installed in an ink flow path. The valve deforms when the negative pressure in the ink supply port is greater than a predetermined level, to temporarily open the ink flow path to introduce ink from the ink accommodation portion to the ink supply port. The damper section is installed between and communicates to the ink supply port and the valve in the ink flow path. The damper section is formed of a resilient member more easily deformed than the valve and applies a negative pressure to the interior of the ink supply port by an elastic recovery force of the resilient member.

摘要： An ink print head reducing ink supply errors caused by air bubbles in order to stably supply ink at larger amounts. The ink print head includes an ink container for holding ink, a recording element for discharging the ink supplied from the ink container, a duct disposed between the ink container and the recording element to transfer the ink to the recording element, and an inductive channel which communicates with the duct. The inductive channel transfers the ink to the recording element from the ink container, and has a capillary force greater than that of the duct.

The lid is configured so that ribs provided directly over the projecting bottom are higher than the other ribs, and so that the lid can be used for different types of cartridge. In a black cartridge, the pertinent ribs perform the function of effectively bringing the absorber into pressure contact with an ink introducing section. In a color cartridge, the pertinent ribs perform the function of restraining the height of the top surface of the absorber disposed on the projecting bottom portion to a position lower than that of the top surface of each of the other absorbers.

摘要： A liquid discharge head cartridge can assuredly supply a liquid discharge head with a liquid even when a bubble is generated within a liquid channel, and maintain excellent recording characteristics even in a configuration in which light recovery or no recovery is adopted. The cartridge includes a slit-shaped opening provided at an ink channel facing an ink-jet recording head, a filter provided at an ink introducing unit so as to contact an ink absorber, and ribs for supporting the filter that extend from an inner wall of the ink introducing unit to a substantially central portion of the filter.
