    Abstract: A control method for a refrigerator includes sensing a temperature of a storage room; operating a cool air supply at a cooling power when the sensed temperature of the storage room is equal to or above a first reference temperature; operating the cool air supply at a delay power, which is less than the cooling power, when the sensed temperature of the storage room is equal to or below a second reference temperature, which is less than the first reference temperature while the cool air supply is operating at the cooling power; and adjusting the cooling power or the delay power of the cool air supply according to the temperature of the storage room while the cool air supply is operating at the delay power, and operating the cool air supply at the determined adjusted cooling power or delay power.

    Abstract: A refrigerator according to an embodiment includes: a duct dividing the inside of a storage compartment body into a storage compartment and an air channel and having a main discharge port and a sub-discharge port; an air guide dividing the air channel into a first channel communicating with the main discharge port and a second channel guiding air in the first channel to the sub-discharge port; a heat exchanger provided in the first channel; and a fan suctioning air in the storage compartment and sending the air to the first channel. According to the refrigerator, it is possible to maximize the volume of the storage compartment and separately discharge air to the main discharge port and the sub-discharge port, using a simple structure.

    Abstract: According to the present disclosure, a method for controlling a refrigerator includes operating a cooling device at a previously-determined output for cooling a storage space; measuring, by a temperature sensor, a temperature of the storage space in unit times; determining a representative temperature of the storage space based on the temperature measured by the temperature sensor, and determining whether the determined representative temperature of the storage space falls within a convergence temperature range, when an output change time is reached after the output of the cooling device is previously determined; maintaining the output of the cooling device or determining the output of the cooling device according to one of a plurality of methods including a first method and a second method when the representative temperature of the storage space falls within the convergence temperature range, and determining the output of the cooling device according to the second method when the representative temperature of the storage space is out of the convergence temperature range; and operating the cooling device at the determined output.

    Abstract: A refrigerator may include a cabinet having a freezer compartment. An evaporator supplies cold air to the freezer compartment and an evaporator cover covers the evaporator. The evaporator cover has a supercooling passage for flowing some of cold air that has exchanged heat through the evaporator to a supercooling compartment of the freezer compartment. A cold air duct directs the other of the cold air that has exchanged heat through the evaporator to a top storage space over the supercooling compartment. A cold air guide device guides cold air in the cold air duct to a bottom storage space under the supercooling compartment.

    Abstract: A cooling cycle apparatus for a refrigerator includes a first compressor, a condenser for condensing a refrigerant compressed in the first compressor, a first expansion device for lowering a temperature and a pressure of a portion of the condensed refrigerant, a first evaporator for evaporating the refrigerant, a second expansion device for lowering a temperature and a pressure of a remaining portion of the refrigerant, a gas-liquid separator for separating a liquid-phase refrigerant from a gas-phase refrigerant in the refrigerant, a third expansion device for lowering a temperature and a pressure of the liquid-phase refrigerant, a second evaporator for evaporating the refrigerant that has passed through the third expansion device, and a second compressor for compressing the refrigerant that has passed through the second evaporator and transferring the refrigerant to the first compressor, wherein the refrigerant that has passed through the first evaporator and the gas-phase refrigerant separated in the gas-liquid separator are introduced into the first compressor together with the refrigerant compressed in the second compressor.
