Abstract:
A laundry treating apparatus is provided that may include a cabinet provided with an introduction port for introduction of laundry, a tub arranged in the cabinet to store washing water and provided with a tub introduction port that communicates with the introduction port, a drum rotatably provided in the tub and adapted to accommodate the laundry introduced through the tub introduction port, a detergent supply module positioned at a lower portion of the introduction port to store a liquid detergent and to provide the stored liquid detergent to the tub, and a water supply device to supply washing water to the tub and to rinse the detergent supply module using the washing water supplied to the tub.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a washing machine is provided. The method may include determining an amount of laundry in an inner tub, setting a supply water level according to the amount of laundry determined, supplying the water into the inner tub until a water level in an outer tub reaches the supply water level set, setting a rotation speed of a pump motor according to the amount of laundry determined, operating the pump motor at the rotation speed set, and alternatively rotating a pulsator in different directions.
Abstract:
A washing machine and a method for controlling a washing machine are provided. The method may include sensing an amount of laundry in an inner tub, configuring an operation setting based on the amount of the laundry sensed, supplying water into the inner tub and obtaining a preliminary water supply time taken for a water level within an outer tub to reach a predetermined preliminary water supply level, spraying the water from the outer tub into the inner tub through a circulation nozzle by driving a pump and obtaining a change of water level within the outer tub as the water is sprayed through the circulation nozzle, adjusting the operation setting based on the preliminary water supply time obtained and the change of water level obtained, and performing a washing operation based on the adjusted operation setting.
Abstract:
A method for controlling a rinsing cycle of a washing machine is provided. The method may include a primary rinsing by supplying water into the inner tub until a water level in the outer tub becomes a preset circulating water level, wherein some of the water is supplied through a drawer in the washing machine that holds fabric softener, and a remaining amount of water is supplied by spraying the water supplied from the external water source through the direct water nozzle via a direct water supply hose, a secondary rinsing by spraying water into the inner tub through the circulating nozzle, and a third rinsing by spraying the water into the inner tub through the direct water nozzle while draining the outer tub.
Abstract:
A laundry treating apparatus is provided that may include a cabinet having an introduction port for introduction of laundry and an opening that communicates with an outside of the cabinet, a tub arranged in the cabinet and provided with a tub introduction port that communicates with the introduction port, and a detergent supply module that stores a detergent and provides the stored detergent to the tub, the detergent supply module being detachably provided at the opening.
Abstract:
A clothes treatment apparatus and a method for controlling a clothes treatment apparatus are provided. The clothes treatment apparatus may include a drying duct, a first blower fan located in the drying duct that circulates interior air within the drying duct, and a filter located in the drying duct. The method may include sensing clogging of the filter, and switching a flow of air passing through the filter from a first direction to an opposite second direction if clogging of the filter is sensed. The method may further include a washing cycle for washing clothes, and a drying cycle for drying the clothes. An implementation time of the washing cycle may be less than an implementation time of the drying cycle.
