Abstract:
A method for controlling a dryer according to an embodiment of the present invention includes: an operation of, when a dusting mode is selected and a start command is input, rotating a drying drum at a first rotational speed V1 in a first direction for a first set time; an operation of, after the first set time elapses, rotating the drying drum at a second rotational speed V2 in a second direction opposite to the first direction for a first set time; and an operation of rotating a drying fan along with the drying drum, when the drying drum rotates in the second direction, dust staining on an object introduced into the drying drum is separated from the object, and when the drying drum rotates in the first direction, the separated dust is discharged to the outside of the drying drum by a forced air flow generated by the drying fan.
Abstract:
In one aspect of the present disclosure, a laundry treating apparatus includes a cabinet having a laundry receiving hole defined in a front surface portion thereof; a door pivotally coupled to the front surface of the cabinet for selectively opening and closing the laundry receiving hole, the door including: a door cover defining a front appearance; and a door frame coupled to a rear surface of the door cover; a hinge assembly pivotally connecting the door to the front surface of the cabinet, the hinge assembly including: a hinge cover; and a hinge body pivotally coupled to the hinge cover; and a latch assembly coupled to an edge of a rear surface of the door. A mount rib is inserted into a mount rib receiving groove to prevent sagging of the door.
Abstract:
The present disclosure relates to an electric dust collector for generating an electric field by a high voltage electrode formed of a polymer. An electric dust collector according to the present disclosure includes a high voltage electrode to which a high voltage is applied, composed of a thermoplastic polymer and an inherently dissipative polymer, and a ground electrode to be grounded to generate the electric field with the high voltage electrode.
Abstract:
The present invention relates to a hollow-fibre membrane having a novel structure and to a production method therefor. The hollow-fibre separation membrane of the present invention has an outermost shell surface pore size of between 0.001 and 0.05 μm and a mean pore size of between 0.01 and 0.1 μm while having, in sequence from the outermost shell surface, a dense sponge structure, a finger-like sponge structure and a mixed sponge-bead structure; and, because of this specific triple structure, the invention has outstanding mechanical strength, porosity and water permeability alike while also having a high performance whereby it is possible to eliminate even viruses.
Abstract:
A controlling method for a dryer is applied to a dryer, in which at least one of a heat pump system and a heater is selected as a heat source for heating air supplied in to a drum and a heat supply capacity of the heat pump system is more than that of the heater. The controlling method includes, when both the heat pump system and the heater are selected as the heat sources, turning the heat pump system on, turning the heater on after the heat pump system is normally turned on, turning the heater off to cool the drum and terminate drying after the drying is performed, and turning the heat pump system off after the heater is turned off.
Abstract:
In one aspect of the present disclosure, a laundry treating apparatus includes a door including: a door cover; and a door frame coupled to a rear surface of the door cover. A left cover seating portion and a right cover seating portion are respectively defined in a left edge and a right edge of a rear surface portion of the door frame. The left cover seating portion and the right cover seating portion are shaped to be symmetrical with each other with respect to a vertical line bisecting the door horizontally. Each of the left cover seating portion and the right cover seating portion is shaped to be symmetrical with respect to a horizontal line bisecting the door vertically.
Abstract:
