In some aspects, a user equipment may determine a first decoding result for a plurality of downlink control channels of a diversity enhancement based non-coherent joint transmission communication and a second decoding result for a plurality of data channels corresponding to the plurality of downlink control channels; and selectively provide feedback regarding the first decoding result and feedback regarding the second decoding result, the feedback regarding the first decoding result indicating whether reception of one or more downlink control channels, of the plurality of downlink control channels, is successful, and the feedback regarding the second decoding result indicating whether decoding of a codeword of the plurality of data channels is successful. 摘要: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, configuration information indicating that the UE is to compress a precoding matrix indicator in connection with channel state information reporting, wherein the precoding matrix indicator is to be compressed based at least in part on a quantization dependency between transmission layers or an orthogonality relationship between the transmission layers, and wherein the configuration information is associated with a type II, higher rank codebook for multiple input multiple output configuration. The UE may transmit, to a base station (BS), the compressed precoding matrix indicator to the base station based at least in part on receiving the configuration information. The UE and BS may use a communication configuration based at least in part on a precoding matrix indicator recovered from the compressed precoding matrix indicator. Each of the one or more TBs comprises a plurality of CBs. For one or more of the plurality of CBs, all bits of the CB are received from a same TRP. The UE decodes the one or more TBs.

A method that may be performed by a user equipment (UE) includes receiving a channel state information (CSI) reporting configuration configuring the UE with a plurality of CSI reference signal (CSI-RS) resources for channel measurement (CMRs). The method includes determining a number of occupied CSI processing units, a number of occupied active CSI resources, and/or a number of occupied active CSI-RS ports based on an actual number of CSI measurements. The method includes performing CSI measurement based on the determination.

摘要: A base station may determine co-phase information and uplink precoding information (e.g., user equipment (UE) precoder information) based on one or more received sounding reference signals (SRSs) from a UE. The UE may adjust precoders or co-phase for different SRS transmissions over the one or more configured SRS resources. As such, the base station may indicate either co-phase information or uplink precoding information via an SRS resource indicator (SRI), and may transmit an explicit indication of the remaining co-phase information or uplink precoding information in addition to the SRI. In other examples (e.g., when only a single SRS resource is configured), the base station may transmit an index corresponding to uplink precoding information, as well as a separate indication of co-phase information. In some cases, a port selection pattern may be included with an explicit indication, indicating a selection of antenna port indices the precoder or co-phase index applies to.

摘要: Techniques and apparatus for configuring transmission rank and/or precoder(s) to support uplink non-codebook based transmission are provided. One technique includes receiving sounding reference signal (SRS) resource(s) from a user equipment (UE), where each SRS resource is associated with one or more precoded ports. At least one of a transmission rank or a set of precoders is determined based on the SRS resource(s). An indication of at least one of the SRS resource(s) is signaled to the UE. The UE uses the indication of the at least one of the SRS resource(s) to send an uplink transmission.

Aspects provide a method for wireless communications that can be performed by a base station (BS). The BS adaptively selects a modulo base for a data stream for at least one user equipment (UE) in a transmission to one or more UEs. The BS selects the modulo base based on one or more parameters. The BS transmits a signal for at least one UE of the one or more UEs to identify the selected modulo base. The BS performs the transmission to the one or more UEs. The UE receives the transmission from the BS and the signal for the identification of the selected modulo base. Based on the signal, the UE determines the modulo base for at least one data stream in the transmission and decodes the data stream using the modulo base.

A user equipment (UE) may perform channel state information measurements on reference signal transmissions from a base station. The UE may identify a set of cross layer coefficients associated with a set of spatial layers based on the channel state information measurements. The UE may additionally identify a set of precoding coefficients associated with a spatial layer from the set of spatial layers. In some implementations, the set of precoding coefficients may be based on the set of cross layer coefficients. In some examples, the UE may transmit the set of cross layer coefficients and the set of precoding coefficients to the base station.

A method for wireless communications by a user equipment (UE) (120a) includes receiving a CSI report configuration for frequency domain compressed precoder matrix feedback. The CSI report configuration configures the UE (120a) to report, for a plurality of selected beams at a plurality of time domain taps, a frequency domain compression basis vector and a plurality of linear combination coefficients associated with the frequency domain compression (805). For each of the beams, the UE (120a) groups the time domain taps into at least first and second groups. The groups each can have zero, one, or more than one time domain taps (810). The UE (120a) quantizes the corresponding linear combination coefficients and/or frequency domain compression basis vectors based on the grouping (815).
