Abstract:
A vehicular multi-camera vision system includes a plurality of cameras and an electronic control unit. The cameras are disposed at a vehicle and have respective fields of view exterior of the vehicle. The cameras are operable to capture image data. The ECU includes an image processor and a DC power supply. The cameras are connected with the ECU via respective coaxial cables. Each respective coaxial cable carries (i) captured image data from the respective camera to the ECU, (ii) camera control data from the ECU to the respective camera and (iii) electrical voltage for powering the respective camera. The camera control data is carried by the respective coaxial cable from the ECU to the respective camera by a signal having a frequency outside of the bandwidth of the captured image data carried by the respective coaxial cable from the respective camera to the ECU.
Abstract:
A vision system of a vehicle includes a camera disposed at a vehicle and having a field of view. The camera includes an imager and a lens, with the lens having a liquid optic. A control is operable to vary a voltage at the liquid optic to adjust the liquid optic to adjust at least one of (i) a tilt of the lens and (ii) a focal length of the lens. The control is operable to adjust the liquid optic responsive to one of (i) detection of an object, (ii) movement of an object and (iii) a vehicle input. An image processor is operable to process image data captured by the camera.
Abstract:
A vision system for a vehicle includes a camera and a control. The camera is disposed at a vehicle and has a field of view exterior of the vehicle. The camera is operable to capture image data. The control includes an image processor. A single coaxial cable connects the camera with the control. The single coaxial cable carries (i) image data from the camera to the control, (ii) control data from the control to the camera and (iii) electrical voltage for powering the camera. The image processor is operable to process image data captured by the camera and carried to the control by the single coaxial cable. The single coaxial cable carries at least one FBAS signal.
