    Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes a camera disposed at the vehicle and a video display device disposed in the vehicle. Image data captured by the camera is provided to an ECU of the vehicle. A first portion of a scene that is within the field of view of the camera is not viewable by a driver of the vehicle and a second portion of the scene exterior of the vehicle that is within the field of view of the camera is viewable by the driver. Responsive at least in part to processing at the ECU of image data captured by the camera, the vehicular vision system determines an augmented reality overlay. Responsive to processing at the ECU of image data captured by the camera, the video display screen displays video images of the exterior scene. The video display device displays the augmented reality overlay at the displayed video images.

    Abstract: A camera for a vision system of a vehicle includes a housing having a front housing portion and a rear housing portion and configured to be disposed at a vehicle so as to have a field of view interior or exterior of the vehicle. The camera includes a connector portion for electrically connecting circuitry of the camera to an electrical connector of the vehicle when the camera is disposed at the vehicle. The front housing portion houses a lens assembly. A MID (Molded Interconnect Device) frame includes electrically conductive traces and is integrated in the rear housing portion with circuit board connecting elements and connector connecting elements exposed at an inner surface of the rear housing portion. The connector portion includes terminals that contact respective exposed connector connecting elements of the MID frame to electrically connect the connector portion terminals to circuitry of the circuit board via the MID frame.

    Abstract: A vision system for a vehicle includes a camera disposed at the vehicle and having a field of view exterior of the vehicle. A control, via processing of image data captured by the camera, is operable to detect the presence of a vehicle and a blinking light source in the field of view of the camera. The control, via processing of captured image data, determines an angle of the detected vehicle relative to the equipped vehicle and, responsive to determination of the angle, determines a middle region of an end of the detected vehicle. Responsive to detection of the vehicle and the blinking light source, the vision system is operable to determine whether the detected blinking light source is a left turn signal indicator of the detected vehicle or a right turn signal indicator of the detected vehicle.

    Abstract: A vision system of a vehicle includes a camera receiving socket fixedly disposed at an exterior portion of a vehicle. The camera receiving socket includes a socket electrical connector that is electrically connected to a wire harness of the vehicle. A camera assembly includes a lens and imager and associated circuitry, and includes a camera body that is configured to removably attach at the camera receiving socket. The camera assembly includes a camera electrical connector electrically connected to the circuitry. When the camera body is attached at the camera receiving socket, the camera body mechanically attaches at the camera receiving socket to detachably retain the camera assembly at the vehicle and the camera electrical connector is electrically connected to the socket electrical connector. When the camera body is detachably attached at the camera receiving socket, the camera assembly has a field of view exterior of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A vehicular sound processing system includes a plurality of exterior microphones that detect sounds emanating from outside the vehicle. A plurality of cameras are disposed at the vehicle and have respective exterior fields of view. A plurality of speakers are disposed in the cabin of the vehicle and generate sound responsive to a sound processor. The sound processor processes microphone output signals to identify a sound of interest outside of the vehicle. Responsive to identification by the sound processor of the sound of interest, the sound processor controls at least one speaker of the plurality of speakers to generate sound representative of the sound of interest. Direction from the vehicle towards the source of the sound of interest is determined, at least in part, by processing at the electronic control unit of image data captured by at least one camera of the plurality of cameras disposed at the vehicle.

    Abstract: A driver assistance system of a vehicle includes at least one vehicle environmental sensor having a field of sensing exterior of the vehicle. A sensor data processor is operable to process sensor data captured by the sensor. When the vehicle is operated, the sensor data processor receives captured sensor data that is representative of the vehicle surrounding scene. The sensor data processor fuses the sensor data with map data to generate an annotated master map of the scene captured by the sensor. A display device is operable to display information for viewing by a driver of the vehicle. The displayed information is derived at least in part from the annotated master map and is displayed for viewing by the driver of the vehicle who is executing a maneuver of the vehicle.

    Abstract: A sound system of a vehicle includes a plurality of microphones disposed in a cabin of the vehicle, a plurality of speakers disposed in the cabin of the vehicle, and a sound processor operable to process microphone output signals of the microphones to determine a voice signal of a speaking occupant in the vehicle at or near one of the microphones. The sound processor generates a processor output signal that is provided to at least some of the speakers. Responsive to the processor output signal, the at least some of the speakers generate sound representative of the voice signal of the speaking occupant to direct the sound towards other occupants in the vehicle, while one or more speakers at or near the seat occupied by the speaking occupant do not generate sound representative of the voice signal of the speaking occupant.

    Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes an interior-viewing camera disposed in a vehicle and viewing a driver of the vehicle, and a forward-viewing camera disposed at a windshield of the vehicle and viewing at least forward of the vehicle. Image data captured by the interior-viewing camera is transferred from the interior-viewing camera to the ECU and is processed at the ECU. Image data captured by the forward-viewing camera is transferred from the forward-viewing camera to the ECU and is processed at the ECU. Responsive to image processing of image data captured by the interior-viewing camera, at least one selected from the group consisting of (i) position of the driver's head is determined and (ii) direction that the driver's eyes are viewing is determined. Image data captured by the forward-viewing camera is processed for a plurality of driver assistant systems of the vehicle.
