Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes an electronic control unit (ECU) disposed at a vehicle and including an image processor that processes image data captured by at least one camera of the vehicle. An under-trailer camera is disposed at an underside of a trailer hitched to the vehicle. The under-trailer camera has a field of view under the trailer that includes a ground surface under the trailer that is traveled over by the trailer. The under-trailer camera captures image data as the vehicle and trailer are moving. The ECU, responsive to processing of image data captured by the under-trailer camera, detects an object under the trailer and determines that the detected object under the trailer is greater than a threshold size. The ECU, responsive to determination that the detected object under the trailer is greater than the threshold size, generates an output.

Abstract: A vehicular vision system includes an underbody camera disposed at an underside of a body of a vehicle such that a ground surface under the body of the vehicle and being traveled on by the vehicle is at least partially viewed by the underbody camera. A control includes an image processor for processing image data captured by the underbody camera. The underbody camera views at least forward or at least rearward, and the control, via processing of image data captured by the underbody camera, determines presence of an object forward or rearward of the underbody camera and having height greater than a threshold height. The control, responsive to determination of presence of the object under the body of the vehicle that has height greater than the threshold height, generates an output to inform a driver of the vehicle of presence of the determined object under the body of the vehicle.

Abstract: A trailer maneuvering guidance system for a vehicle includes vehicle-based cameras disposed at a vehicle and a trailer camera disposed at a rear portion of a trailer hitched to the vehicle. A control includes a processor that processes image data captured by the cameras. A display screen is disposed in the vehicle and viewable by a driver of the vehicle. The display screen displays images derived from captured image data, with the displayed images including bird's-eye view images of a region at least partially surrounding the vehicle and trailer including an area rearward of the trailer. Responsive to a user input selecting a target path in the displayed images, the control, via processing of captured image data, generates instructions for the driver of the vehicle to follow to maneuver the vehicle and trailer along the selected target path and toward a target location.
