摘要: A base structure of a turnout, which has high durability and is capable of reliably preventing lateral displacement, is disclosed. The base structure of the turnout comprises a set of steel sleepers 1A, which is installed on the track bed and can be filled with ballast. The set of steel sleepers 1A comprises a plurality of steel sleepers 2a, 2b, 2c having a substantially same configuration and different lengths, which are arranged in parallel to each other at predetermined intervals with the length varying stepwise from the shortest steel sleeper 2a to the longest steel sleeper 2c, with end faces on both sides of the longitudinal direction of all steel sleepers are capped with sleeper tie members 3, 4, and 5 or 6, and a portion, or all, of the sleeper tie members are embedded in the track bed.

摘要: A spring rail frog includes a movable wing rail, a fixed wing rail and a nose rail. The movable wing rail is provided with a bendable portion and a non-bendable portion. The bendable portion can include any or all of a reduced width base portion, a reduced width head portion and an increased width web portion. The height of the movable wing rail can also be smaller in height than the height of the nose rail. A fixing plate can also be provided between a base plate and the movable wing rail to adjust the relative height of the movable wing rail and the nose rail. The movable wing rail extends beyond a spacer block disposed between the movable wing rail and the fixed wing rail. The movable wing rail extends away from the nose rail a predetermined distance for connection to the lead rail.

摘要: A nose type rail member for crossing member applied to a turnout or wayside switch system on the ground for a train and the like, is made of high carbon steel material containing 0.70 to 0.82 wt. % of carbon. The rail member is constructed by a pair of rail parts, which has a concave at a side of the middle support part. A backing plate is made of the same as the rail member or a steel material having a less carbon content than that of the rail member and is holden by a pair of the opposite concaves. A pair of the head portions and the base portions at a side thereof are joined by means of electron beam welding and the joined rail member is subjected to S.Q. heat processing, thereby at least a wheel tread of the rail member becomes a homogeneous and fine pearlite structure.
