Abstract:
A computer-based method for improved automatic formatting of a document provides easier accepting and rejecting of formatting actions made by the automatic formatting method. In particular, the user inputs a document, or any part of a document, into a computer system. For each document portion that the user wants formatted in a particular way, the user delimits that portion of the document with a unique format identification feature that corresponds to a format rule. When the user initiates the computer-based automatic formatting method, the method identifies each document portion in the document delimited by at least one format identification feature, and applies to that document portion a format rule corresponding to the at least one format identification feature. The method displays an indicium of the format rule together with the document portion thereby displaying the format rule and the document portion together. The method then receives a user input accepting or rejecting the displayed format rule. The display together of the document portion and an indicium of the format rule applied to that document portion permits the user to decide easily and unambiguously whether the automatic formatting is desired.

The invention is based on a partition wall in an aircraft, wherein the partition wall comprises a support element and a tension-mounted material. According to the invention, the support element is composed of individually formed system components, and the tension-mounted material is supported by the support element such that an area-shaped partition wall is created in the aircraft.

The invention relates to a rest compartment arrangement in an aircraft, comprising a rest compartment and at least one monument, wherein the rest compartment is arranged above a cabin floor and comprises a passage that extends from a rest compartment floor in the direction of the cabin floor. When compared to the state of the art, the invention is characterized in that the at least one monument comprises at least one wall which above a seat region situated therein forms a recess to accommodate the passage. As a result of this, monuments can be positioned in a space-saving manner underneath the passage in the cabin without this resulting in reduced comfort, because the recess above the seat region is not perceived to be distracting by the passenger.

System and method for handling calendar events among a plurality of user devices in a communication network are disclosed. The system includes a device manager for interfacing with the plurality of user devices, where the plurality of user devices use different calendar applications and have calendar events in different data formats, and the plurality of user devices include at least a meeting organizer device and one or more attendee devices. The system further includes a calendar gateway for processing the calendar events to form a corresponding connected calendar-data-set for each connected user, where the connected calendar-data-set is stored in a calendar backend server and is shared among one or more devices of each connected user, and an email gateway for communicating the calendar events between the calendar gateway and the plurality of user devices.

The system further includes logic operable to receive a request for the associated data, and initiate an asynchronous fetch of the associated data, wherein the associated data is fetched in the background of the device. The system may further include logic operable to initiate a notification after receiving the request for the data that the associated data will be fetched, and/or initiate a notification that the associated data has been fetched. The associated data may include an attachment, media object, or other data associated with the email message.
