摘要: A handheld electronic device has a central part comprising a display and two pivotable elements. The pivotable elements are pivotably linked to the central part such that the pivotable elements are moveable between a compacted configuration and an extended configuration. Both of the pivotable elements are stacked on the central part and adjacent to each other when in the compacted configuration, and extend outward from the central part in the extended configuration. The pivotable elements each have a first surface accessible to a user in the compacted configuration. A first set of keys is disposed on the first surfaces. The pivotable elements each also have a second surface that is accessible to the user in the extended configuration but not in the compacted configuration. A second set of keys is disposed on the second surfaces.

摘要: This invention relates to a first housing component and a second housing component being configured to be pivot-mounted to the each other. The second housing component comprises a surface portion configured to accommodate an aperture of a camera. The aperture is displaced from the pivot point. Pivoting the first housing component and the second housing component with respect to each other involves a change of the arrangement of a surface portion of the first housing component opposed to the surface portion of the second housing component which is configured to accommodate the aperture of the camera.

摘要: A shutter assembly has an actuator for applying a whip action on a shutter wing for blocking or exposing an aperture. The shutter wing has a first blade fixedly connected to the actuator and a second blade movably connected to the first blade. When the shutter wing is in the closed position, the blades form a folded shape with a waist section large enough to cover the entire aperture. When the shutter wing is in the open position, the blades form an extended shape having a narrower waist section. The blades can be connected to each other by a hinge or a wire. Two shutter wings located on opposite sides of the aperture can be used to create a gap therebetween to control the exposure in a camera. As the shutter wings move from one side to another, the gap acts like a moving slit across the aperture.

摘要: The invention relates to an sliding mechanism, and in particular an electronic device sliding mechanism. The invention provides an electronic device sliding mechanism comprising a first part and a second part, the first and second parts being slidably movable relative to one another between a first configuration and a second configuration; a bias assembly arranged to bias the first and second parts towards the first configuration; an actuating mechanism arrangeable to act against the bias of the bias assembly, the actuating mechanism including a resilient element and a user-operable element, the actuating mechanism being arranged to cause deformation of the resilient element by acting against the resilience of the resilient element, to store resilient energy therein upon actuation of the user-operable element, the sliding mechanism being arranged such that, upon actuation of the user-operable element, the resilient element is deformed to store increased levels of resilient energy, the level of stored resilient energy increasing to a level to act against the bias of the bias assembly to move the first and second parts away from the first configuration to the second configuration.

摘要: The invention relates in general to the field of digital cameras, especially small digital cameras. In particularly the invention relates for adjusting an aperture for mobile cameras. The adjustable aperture construction of the invention comprises two electrodes, and an electrical circuit for applying a voltage to the electrodes in order to create an electric field between the electrodes. In addition the construction comprises between the electrodes a center unit with a hole in the middle of it, the center unit being made of an electroactive material, such as dielectric material or electrostrictive polymer. The aperture can be adjusted by deforming the shape of the center unit. The shape of the center unit is advantageously deformed by the electric field created between said electrodes by said electrical circuit.

摘要: Methods, apparatuses and a computer program are provided. An apparatus comprises: one or more optical elements, a first actuator and a second actuator. The first actuator may be configured to drive the one or more optical elements from a rest position across a first displacement, and configured to drive the one or more optical elements from the rest position across a second displacement. The second actuator may be configured to assist the first actuator in controlling movement of the one or more optical elements across a portion, and not all, of the first displacement, and configured to assist the first actuator in controlling movement of the one or more optical elements in the second direction across a portion, and not all, of the second displacement. The first and second actuators may be biased such that, when no electrical power is supplied to the first and second actuators, they bring the one or more optical elements to a rest position from which the one or more optical elements are driven.
