    Abstract: A mobile terminal capable of grasping the possibility that a person had been in proximity to an infected person while taking his/her privacy into consideration is provided. A mobile terminal according to the present disclosure includes an extraction unit configured to extract, from an image of an identification code generated based on identification information assigned to a place and displayed at the place, the identification information, and store the extracted identification information in a storage device, an acquisition unit configured to acquire identification information stored in a storage device of a mobile terminal of an infected person, and a determination unit configured to determine whether or not the acquired identification information matches the identification information stored in the storage device of a user's own mobile terminal. The determination unit notifies the user of information about proximity of the user to the infected person based on a result of the determination.

    Abstract: A mobile ad hoc network including the communication terminals for cognitive radio communication may have a problem that it takes time for the terminal to newly participate in the network. A radio communication terminal already participating in a mobile ad hoc network includes a pulse pilot generating unit which converts a pulse signal having a predetermined pattern into a radio signal and outputs the obtained radio signal at an unused frequency, after participating in the mobile ad hoc network. A radio communication terminal to participate in a mobile ad hoc network includes a pulse pilot checking unit which checks whether any pulse signal having a predetermined pattern exists in a radio signal for each predetermined frequency and performs a participation process for the frequency of each radio signal including the pulse signal, the participation process including inquiring whether the radio communication terminal can participate in the mobile ad hoc network.

    Abstract: The present invention is provided to implement an automated setting change of network setting items on an ad hoc network which does not have a specific base station. A method of changing network setting for changing setting of a network where a plurality of terminals are connected, the method including the steps of: a request source terminal transmitting a request for setting change to a selected representative terminal; the selected representative terminal, upon receiving the request for setting change, transmitting a request for permission to at least a majority of representative terminals; the selected representative terminal transmitting a success notification to the request source terminal upon receiving a notification of permission from the majority of representative terminals in response to the request for permission; the request source terminal transmitting, to the plurality of terminals, an execution instruction including at least a content of setting change, upon receiving the success notification; and the terminal which has received the execution instruction changing the setting according to the content of setting change.
