Abstract: A novel hemostasis valve-equipped indwelling needle that is capable of discharging air in an internal flow path includes a cannula to be inserted percutaneously into a blood vessel on a distal end side thereof, a link connector on a proximal end side thereof, an internal flow path extending from the cannula to the link connector, and a hemostatic valve disposed inside the link connector. An air vent passage that allows the internal flow path to communicate with an external space is formed in the link connector further on the cannula side than the hemostatic valve, and a filter that allows gas to pass through but does not allow liquid to pass through is mounted in a compressed state on the air vent passage.

Abstract: A puncturing tool for small animals which has a novel structure, facilitates confirmation of the connection state of a capillary tube, and can prevent inadvertent detachment of the capillary tube. A puncturing tool for small animals includes a connecting part for a capillary tube on the proximal end side of a hollow needle, wherein the connecting part has a tapered peripheral wall that expanding and extending in a direction away from the hollow needle, and a tapered peripheral wall has an elastic fitting part, through which the capillary tube is inserted, projecting inward from a middle portion of the tapered peripheral wall in the length direction thereof.

Abstract: A hub assembly with a hub body connected to a tube from an external appliance, a hub outer casing which is coupled to the hub body and forms a liquid passage, a slitted separating wall disposed in the liquid passage in the hub outer casing, a filter disposed on the living body-side of the separating wall to allow the passage of gas and regulate the passage of liquid, and a ventilation passage which communicates between the liquid passage and the outside of the hub outer casing by way of the filter, wherein an end portion of the ventilation passage on the separating wall side of an opening portion facing the liquid passage is in a location at most 10 mm toward the distal end side relative to the distal end of the separating wall.
