Abstract: A valved needle assembly including a needle hub provided to a proximal end side of a hollow needle, and a valve member incorporated therein for blocking communication with the hollow needle. A protrusion protrudes from a distal end side toward a proximal end side inside the needle hub and the valve member blocks the proximal end side of the protrusion inside the needle hub. A central valve part of the valve member having a slit moves toward the protrusion such that the slit is opened and placed in communication by the protrusion. The central valve part includes a distal end tubular part and a proximal end tubular part extending from its outer circumferential portion toward the distal end side and the proximal end side respectively.

Abstract: This needle assembly is provided with a needle having a needle tip, a needle hub, and a protector. The protector is displaceable between a non-protection position at which the needle is exposed and a protection position at which the needle tip is covered; has an opening formed elongated to match the needle, and includes a main body and a claw-like portion. The needle enters the main body from the opening to cover the needle tip when the protector is displaced to the protection position. The claw-like portion is bent by the needle when the protector is displaced to the protection position, allows the needle to advance into the protector main body, and is elastically restored to lock the needle when the needle enters the main body. The claw-like portion projects obliquely from the main body, extends across the opening in the width direction, and extends in the longitudinal direction.

Abstract: In an indwelling needle assembly, a safety mechanism part is provided with an outer-needle-hub engaging part to be engaged with an outer needle hub, and an engaging-part opposing wall. Relative rotation of the outer-needle-hub engaging part and the engaging-part opposing wall is restricted, and at least one of the outer-needle-hub engaging part and the engaging-part opposing wall displaces integrally with urging parts. When an inner needle is pulled out of the outer needle hub, a block part engaged with the inner needle through an inner-needle engaging part is moved relative to the urging parts and forced to a non-contact state, and the urging parts displace in a direction approaching the inner needle, thereby preventing a needle tip of the inner needle from protruding from the safety mechanism part and releasing engagement of the outer needle hub with the safety mechanism part.

Abstract: The needle tip protector is attached to a puncture needle and prevents exposure of a needle tip by being moved to the needle tip side, and includes a first side plate and a second side plate extending from a bottom part located on a needle base side of the puncture needle to the needle tip side, and facing each other while sandwiching the puncture needle from both sides. The first side plate and the second side plate include lateral cover pieces protruding inward in a direction of facing at respective widthwise edges, which are opposite to each other in a plate width direction. With the needle tip protector attached to the puncture needle, the puncture needle is located between the respective lateral cover pieces of the first side plate and the second side plate.

Abstract: A valved needle assembly includes a connector having an inner hole, a pipe body fixed to a tip end of the connector, a valve body, and an assembly part in which an insertion part provided to one of the connector and the pipe body is inserted into another such that the connector is disposed within or about the pipe body. A locking protrusion and a locking part are provided to superposed faces of the connector and the pipe body in the assembly part for preventing the insertion part from dislodgment by mutual lock, and an inclined guide surface for guiding the locking protrusion is formed on a tip end in a direction of assembly of the connector or the pipe body to which the locking part is provided. The valve body is incorporated by being mated with the connector and the pipe body.

Abstract: A novel hemostasis valve-equipped indwelling needle that is capable of discharging air in an internal flow path includes a cannula to be inserted percutaneously into a blood vessel on a distal end side thereof, a link connector on a proximal end side thereof, an internal flow path extending from the cannula to the link connector, and a hemostatic valve disposed inside the link connector. An air vent passage that allows the internal flow path to communicate with an external space is formed in the link connector further on the cannula side than the hemostatic valve, and a filter that allows gas to pass through but does not allow liquid to pass through is mounted in a compressed state on the air vent passage.
