    Abstract: A user equipment of a telecommunications network comprising: at least one processor; and at least one memory storing instructions that, when executed by the at least one processor, cause the user equipment at least to: establish a connection between the user equipment and a first network node of the radio access network, the first network node supporting a first cell, derive in the user equipment a reference configuration relating to the first cell; wherein the reference configuration includes information related to a first bearer configuration; receive in the user equipment a target configuration related to a cell change from the first cell towards a second cell, wherein the target configuration includes information related to a target bearer configuration; and in response to an update of the first bearer configuration to an updated first bearer configuration, derive in the user equipment a related updated reference configuration and receiving in the user equipment a delta-over-target configuration, the delta-over-target configuration including information related to differences between an updated target bearer configuration and the target bearer configuration.

    Abstract: Exemplary embodiments of the present disclosure relate to a beam failure recovery to a cell. In an aspect, a first network device determines a radio resource control (RRC) reconfiguration for one or more cells prepared by the first network device. The RRC reconfiguration comprises a beam failure recovery configuration to be used by a terminal device for performing a beam failure recovery to the one or more cells. The first network device transmits, to a second network device, the RRC reconfiguration. By this process, the UE may recover to a non-serving cell in case of detecting a beam failure.

    Abstract: Embodiments of the present disclosure relate to lower layer triggered mobility. In an aspect, a terminal device receives a radio resource control signaling including a transmission configuration indicator from a first network device. The transmission configuration indicator state is configured for beam-only-switching. The terminal device performs beam-only switching based on the transmission configuration indicator state and a first switching command, then configuration switching based on the first switching command or a second switching command. As such, a solution for enhanced lower layer triggered mobility is provided, thereby reducing the interruption time.

    Abstract: Described herein is a user equipment, UE, configured to establish a connection towards a first network node (e.g. source DU) via a first cell supported by the first network node (source DU). The UE receives configuration information related to performing measurements for a target cell as candidate cell for a cell change, wherein the target cell is supported by a second network node (target DU), and determines further configuration information related to monitoring validity of a timing advance value related to the target cell. The UE is e.g. further enabled to send towards the first network node (source DU) a first (L1) measurement report including target cell measurement info, and to receive from the first network node (source DU) an instruction to acquire timing advance value for the target cell. The UE then acquires timing advance value for target cell, and monitors the validity of acquired timing advance value based on the further configuration. The UE may then send towards the first network node (source DU) information regarding validity and/or invalidity of the timing advance value of target cell.
