摘要: A mounting support device allows workpieces to be attached at points intermediate between discrete positions of fixture bases of machine tools. The mounting support device has three support members. A lower support member is slidably attached to an intermediate member allowing the intermediate member to move along an x-axis. An upper support member is slidably attached to the intermediate member allowing the upper member to move along a z-axis. A jig for holding a workpiece is connected to the upper member. The lower support member is attached to the fixture base in a discrete location in the usual way. Thus, the jig holding the workpiece can be positioned intermediately between discrete mounting positions of the fixture base. The sliding attachments maintain precise alignment between the support members and can be secured after adjustment.

摘要: A fixture 3 for fixing an article to be fixed, such as a workpiece 2, to a fixture base 1 comprises a fixture body 5 detachably mountable on a mounting object, such as the fixture base 1. A linking member 4 is detachably mountable on the workpiece 2. The fixture body 5 comprises a body section 6 comprising an insertion hole 12 into which the linking member 4 is to be inserted, a rotary section 7 which is rotatably fitted onto the body section 6 so as to cover an outer peripheral portion 6b thereof, and a ball 8a protruding into the insertion hole 12 via a through hole 13 formed in the body section 6 for engagement with the linking member 4. Furthermore, a pushing portion 19 which causes the ball 8a to protrude into the insertion hole 12 when the rotary section 7 is moved in one of axial directions thereof is provided at the inner surface 7c of the rotary section 7.

摘要: A machining device has a base and a fixture. The base is fixedly attached to a pallet or a machining table. The fixture is mounted on the base, contacting the base only at projecting contact surfaces which project above the mounting surface of the base. Cleaning of the base before a fixture is attached is done efficiently because only the minimized projecting contact surfaces area between the base and the fixture needs to be cleaned to permit stable contact between the base and fixture. The base and fixture also include projections and holes for precisely aligning the base and fixture with respect to each other.
