The table includes a workpiece holder, a table base including a first support portion and a second support portion for turnably supporting the workpiece holder at positions spaced from each other in an X-axis direction, the workpiece holder being mounted on the table base, and a turning device that is provided in the first support portion, and turns the workpiece holder around a turning center axis extending in the X-axis direction. The machine tool further includes a first feeding device and a second feeding device that are provided on the bed and are connected to the first support portion and the second support portion respectively to drive the table in the Z-axis direction.
Abstract:
Rotating vise jaws comprising first, second, third, and forth elements used with a milling machine vise to hold objects having either parallel or nonparallel edges. Wherein, said first element consists of a vertical axis tool post adapted to fit either a movable or stationary wall disposed at a milling machine vise. Said vertical axis tool post disposes a cylindrical shaft defining a vertical axis for cooperating with said second element comprising a vertical axis vise jaw having beveled side walls and a correlative through hole for cooperating with said vertical axis. Thus, said vertical axis tool post is attached to a milling machine vise and said vertical axis vise jaw is connected to said vertical axis, thereby providing a self-aligning vise jaw with a reversible clamping face; wherein said vise jaw is rotatable about a vertical axis for holding objects having either parallel or nonparallel edges.Wherein, said third element consists of a horizontal axis tool post having a correlative through hole for connecting said horizontal axis tool post to said vertical axis. said horizontal axis tool post disposes a cylindrical shaft defining a horizontal axis for cooperating with said forth element comprising a horizontal axis vise jaw having beveled side walls and a correlative through hole for cooperating with said horizontal axis. Thus, said vertical axis tool post is attached to a milling machine vise, said horizontal axis tool post is connected to said vertical axis, said horizontal axis vise jaw is connected to said horizontal axis, thereby providing a self-aligning vise jaw with a reversible clamping face, wherein said vise jaw is rotatable about a horizontal axis for holding objects having either parallel or nonparallel edges.
Abstract:
An adaptable assembly line work-piece processor for use at a work station includes, but is not limited to, a work-piece supporter. The adaptable assembly line work-piece processor further includes, but is not limited to, a reconfigurable interface assembly attached to the work-piece supporter. The adaptable assembly line work-piece processor still further includes, but is not limited to, a work-piece manipulator attached to the reconfigurable interface assembly. The work-piece supporter, the reconfigurable interface assembly, and the work-piece manipulator are configured to cooperate to sequentially support and manipulate a plurality of differently configured work-pieces.
Abstract:
A workpiece clamping device able to perform a set-up changing operation for clamping members depending on the kind of a workpiece to be processed, at a low cost, by a simple method. The workpiece clamping device includes a bracket, a movable part which is movable with respect to the bracket, a clamping member to be attached to and detached from the bracket or the movable part, to clamp a workpiece, and a detachable device for detachably coupling the bracket or the movable part to the clamping member.
Abstract:
A positioning block for positioning an object on a work bench includes a body having a positioning hole defined therethrough and a first bolt extends through the positioning hole. A support portion is formed on one side of the body and has a horizontal surface and an upright surface. A flange extends from the body and the board is pressed on the flange. The horizontal surface is parallel to the bottom face of the body. An angle is defined between the horizontal surface and the upright surface.
Abstract:
A plate assembly can support a cylinder head and includes a frame. The frame includes a frame body and a supporting wall extending from the frame body. The frame body defines an inner frame surface. The inner frame surface and the supporting wall jointly define a frame cavity. The plate assembly also includes an insert configured to support the cylinder head. The insert is sized to be received in the frame cavity and includes an insert body. The insert body defines a top insert surface, a bottom insert surface opposite to the top insert surface, and a lateral insert surface interconnecting the top and bottom insert surfaces. The supporting wall supports the insert such that the inner frame surface surrounds the lateral insert surface and the supporting wall contacts the insert bottom surface when the insert is disposed in the frame cavity.
Abstract:
A rotary device for a cutting tool assembling and disassembling apparatus includes an engaging seat with an engaging block. On the engaging block is defined an engaging hole and a threaded hole. A support seat is formed with a receiving cavity and a plurality of positioning grooves around a peripheral edge of the receiving cavity for engaging with the engaging block. The connecting member is inserted through a positioning hole of the support seat and into the engaging hole of the engaging seat. Then, a fastener is screwed in the threaded hole of the engaging seat to fix the connecting member. Thus, the engaging seat can be elastically abutted against the support seat, and the engaging block is selectively engaged in and disengaged from the positioning grooves. Therefore, the angle of the engaging scat can be easily adjusted to facilitate assembling and disassembling of cutting tools.
Abstract:
An apparatus for clamping a work piece is provided. The apparatus includes a base plate to support the work piece; at least one clamp body fixed to the base plate, each clamp body having a hole that receives a corresponding screw, wherein the hole passes through the clamp body such that as the clamp screw is inserted through the clamp body an end of a body of the screw moves horizontally towards the work piece supported by the base plate at a downward angle; fastener fixing the at least one clamp body to the base plate; and the at least one corresponding screw, each screw having a hollow point tip where outer and inner lateral surfaces of the hollow point tip join to define a sharp circular edge at an end of a body of the screw.
