    摘要: A photo-pickup wherein a light emitting portion, a surface acoustic wave generating portion, a lens portion, a light receiving portion and a control portion are integrally integrated on a base plate formed on its surface with a light transmission path. The light emitting portion propagates a light beam to the light transmission path. The light beam propagating in the light transmission path is first deflected within a plane of the light transmission path by surface acoustic wave propagating on the light transmission path and propagated towards the lens portion. The lens portion is provided to project the light beam outside from the light transmission path and effect two-dimentional focusing of the projected beam and adjustment of focal position. The light receiving portion comprises a combination of a plurality of light receiving elements disposed at suitable intervals from the projected position of the light beam to receive a reflected light of the light beam. The control portion is provided to receive an output of the light receiving portion to process a signal and supply said control signal to the surface acoustic wave generating portion and lens portion, thereby effecting the control of deflection angle of the light beam, two-dimensional focusing of the projected beam and control of focal position.

    摘要: An optical comparator for comparing, bit by bit, corresponding bits of two optical digital signals which are identical in the number of constituent optical bit signals, includes an optical waveguide layer made of an acousto-optical material. A surface acoustic wave generator generates a surface acoustic wave propagating on the waveguide layer, and a photocoupler directs the constituent bit signals to be of the two optical digital signals incident on the waveguide layer so as to satisfy the Bragg diffraction condition with respect to the surface acoustic wave propagating on the waveguide layer. A photosensor detects diffracted light and/or undiffracted light which has passed through a surface acoustic wave interaction region. The position of the generator and/or the surface acoustic wave generating timing is so determined that initiation or cessation of the interaction of the surface acoustic wave with a bit of one of the optical digital signals is simultaneous with initiation or cessation of the wave interaction with a corresponding bit of the other optical bit signal.

    摘要: By an electro-optical switch or an optical switch element utilizing diffraction by a surface acoustic wave, an input light beam is first switched over to one of light beams two or a multiple of two in number and propagating in different directions. By a surface acoustic wave which is discretely variable in frequency, the light beam in each of the different propagation direction is deflected at angles in accordance with the varying frequencies while propagating through an optical waveguide layer. It is possible to obtain by switching a very large total number of output light beams which are equal in number to the number of resolvable deflected light beams obtained in the frequency bandwidth of one surface acoustic wave, multiplied by the number of light beams obtained by switching with the optical switch element.

    摘要: In a fuel injection device, a control body has a pressure control chamber, an inflow port and an outflow port. The inflow port and the outflow port are opened at an abutting surface exposed to the pressure control chamber. In the pressure control chamber is arranged a floating plate for pressing the abutting surface by a pressing surface with the pressure of the fuel to interrupt communication between the inflow port and the pressure control chamber. The abutting surface of the control body is provided with an outer opposite surface portion opposite to an outer edge of the pressing surface in a displacement axis direction of the floating plate, and the outer opposite surface portion has a special depressed portion that is depressed in the displacement axis direction and that extends along the shape of the outer edge of the pressing surface.

    摘要: An electromagnetic relay including an electromagnet block having a rod-shaped iron core, a coil wound around the rod-shaped iron core, and a spool interposed between the coil and iron core. A yoke having one end section extends to a section at a side of a magnet pole section of the iron core. An end section of the yoke is arranged so that the magnet pole section has a gap on a base side. A moving iron is pivotably supported by an elastic support of a hinge spring. The electromagnet block is magnetized wherein a section drawn in the moving iron is drawn to the magnet pole section and pivoted to drive a contact switching unit. The hinge spring includes an elastic contacting portion extending toward an opposite side to the elastic support. The moving iron is integrated with a card member that comes in contact with the elastic contacting portion.

    摘要: There is provided a laser speckle velocity-measuring apparatus comprising: a semiconductor laser to irradiate the light to a moving object; first and second photo sensing devices whose light receiving points are arranged in the moving direction of the objects at a predetermined distance so as to be away from each other; a clock signal generating and control circuit for determining a clock frequency of the clock signal so that the number of clocks of the clock signal is always set to a constant value when the delay time of the photo sensing signal of the second photo sensing device for the photo sensing signal of the first photo sensing device is measured by the clock signals; and an arithmetic operating circuit for counting the clock signals and calculating the length, moving distance, or velocity of the object on the basis of the count value. With this apparatus, the detecting time of the length or velocity of the moving object can be reduced and the measuring processes can be performed in a real-time manner.
