    摘要： A low voltage power receptacle assembly is adapted for providing access to low voltage power in compact spaces. The low voltage power receptacle assembly includes a circuit subassembly that is operable to transform a line voltage input, such as about 110V to 220V AC, to a lower voltage output, such as about 2V to 12V DC. Electrical input conductors receive and convey the line voltage from a power source to the circuit subassembly, while electrical output conductors convey the lower voltage output from the circuit subassembly to a low voltage power receptacle that may be spaced some distance from the circuit subassembly. The low voltage power receptacle is mountable in different housings, faceplates, and the like, to accommodate different mounting styles and locations.

The base system includes a bottom housing portion associated with the electrical unit, with the bottom housing portion having a mechanical receptacle portion. The base system further includes at least two different mounts, each having an engaging portion configured to mate with the receptacle portion, and each having a different distal mounting portion. The different distal mounting portions are configured for mounting to different types of surfaces, so that the electrical unit may be configured for installation in different locations or in different ways.

    摘要： A retractable lamp assembly is provided for illuminating at least a portion of a work surface from a wide range of heights and angles by way of extendable shafts and pivot joints. The lamp may be stowed in a retracted or lowered configuration when not in use, in which a substantial portion of the extendable structure is stowed inside of a housing that is located substantially below the work surface, to provide a generally unobtrusive configuration. An upper cover serves as a light reflector when the lamp is in use, and may serve as a cover positioned at or near the work surface when the lamp is stowed. Optionally, the lamp assembly includes include power and data and wire management capabilities for use at the work surface.

    摘要： An interchangeable cover system is provided for use with an electrical power or data unit, such as at or near a work surface. The cover system includes an aesthetic cover and a clip member. The aesthetic cover has an aesthetic surface and an attachment surface, which is opposite the aesthetic surface. The clip member is positioned at the attachment surface of the aesthetic cover, and is used to releasably secure the aesthetic cover to a housing of the electrical power unit. In one embodiment, the clip member includes a pair of resilient projections with hook-like portions for releasably engaging an opening formed in the housing of the power unit.
