Abstract: A bracket system for securing an electrical device and other components to a ceiling structure can include a mounting bracket removably securable to a ceiling member and a support bar that removably engages the mounting bracket. The mounting bracket can include a bracket body, a channel structure that defines a channel, a support arm to removably engage the ceiling member, and a locking arm that is moveable relative to the bracket body. The support bar can include a support section and an attachment arm extending integrally from a first end of the support section that can be slidably received within the channel in the insertion direction.

Abstract: An electrical junction assembly for implementation in a wall that is reconfigurable to accept various types of electrical connectors. Flanges and clips in the electrical junction assembly help self-mount it in a wall. The electrical junction assembly is created from modular receptacles, with each customizable for the type of electrical connection it will accommodate. Keystones are selectively implemented or removed from preconfigured sockets in the receptacles. The receptacles are modular as they may be customized, and then reconfigured as desired, for the number of receptacles and electrical connections they may accommodate.

The housing may be configured to enclose and secure the electrical connector of the power cord in the housing.

Abstract: An apparatus, such as an electrical device or a wall box, may have a mounting mechanism that may be configured to mount the apparatus to a wall in a manner that may facilitate secure fastening to the wall. The apparatus may comprise at least one mounting clamp that may have a fin and a drum that receives a mounting screw. The fin of the mounting clamp may be configured to be located within a pocket formed in the body. When a mounting screw is driven, the mounting clamp may rotate from the pocket into a position in which the drum of the mounting clamp may be received in a channel formed in the body. The drum may be configured to move through the channel as the mounting screw is further driven. The gap may be sized to retain the mounting clamp within the channel as the drum moves therethrough.

Abstract: An edge adapter for electrical box extension rings includes a flexible adapter body enclosing and defines an adapter channel, the flexible adapter body has a continuous sidewall defining at least four sides, each side having an inner wall surface facing the adapter channel and an outer wall surface opposite to the inner wall surface. A first pair of retention flanges are adjacent one another and disposed on and radially projecting from the outer wall surface on a first side of the adapter body. A fourth pair of retention flanges are adjacent one another and disposed on and radially projecting from the outer wall surface on the second side of the adapter body, the third pair of retention flanges and the fourth pair of retention flanges together defining a second retention slot shaped and dimensioned to receive a second inner wall of the electrical box extension ring.

Abstract: An electrical outlet cover assembly includes a face plate and a cover plate having an electrical outlet opening sized to receive an outlet face therethrough. The face plate includes a base and at least one outlet face cavity. Abstract: Power outlets adapted for installation within an enclosure are provided. Power outlets are provided having a safety interlock adapted to prevent the creation of a hazardous condition within the enclosure as a result of the continued operation of an electrical device within the enclosed space. The safety interlock may include current limiting circuitry and hardware, hazard sensing devices interconnected with such current limiting circuitry and hardware or other circuit breaker switches, and combinations of such safety interlocks. The power outlets may also be adapted for installation within a movable enclosure, such as, for example, a drawer.
