Abstract: The light source device of the projection display apparatus according to the present disclosure includes: solid-state light sources that individually emit blue light, green light, and red light; a plurality of dichroic mirrors that combine the blue light, the green light, and the red light having exited from the solid-state light sources; a first diffusion plate on which the combined light having been combined by the plurality of dichroic mirrors is incident; a dynamic diffusion plate that is disposed at a position at which the combined light having exited from the first diffusion plate converges and starts to diverge.

Abstract: A light source apparatus includes a plurality of laser light sources configured to emit color light rays having multiple wavelength bands. The light source apparatus further includes a plurality of dichroic mirrors configured to combine the color light rays and output combined color light rays; and a dynamic diffusion plate configured to diffuse incident light rays from the plurality of dichroic mirrors so as to remove speckles specific to laser beams. One of the plurality of dichroic mirrors is configured to reflect blue light, and each of the plurality of laser light sources includes a blue laser light source. The blue laser light source is configured to generate a P-polarized short-wavelength-band laser beam, and an S-polarized long-wavelength-band laser beam having a wavelength longer than a wavelength of the P-polarized short-wavelength-band laser beam.

Abstract: The light source apparatus of the present disclosure includes a solid-state light source, a dichroic mirror for reflecting blue excitation light emitted from the solid-state light source, a phase difference plate for receiving the excitation light reflected on the dichroic mirror, a fluorescent plate having a fluorescent region irradiated with the excitation light, which is reflected on the dichroic mirror and transmitted through the phase difference plate, to emit fluorescent light and a reflection region for reflecting the excitation light, and a plurality of condenser lenses that are disposed between the phase difference plate and the fluorescent plate and condense the excitation light and the fluorescent light. Among the plurality of condenser lenses, the condenser lens closest to the fluorescent plate is made of a glass material having a linear expansion coefficient of 32.5×10−7 or less.
