摘要： The invention relates to an oven, especially to a domestic oven, which has a control panel comprising a user interface (1) for inputting data (D) into the control panel, wherein the user interface (1) comprises: at least one display element (2) for displaying data, wherein data (D) can be displayed on the display element (2) at a location (Z) on the display element (2) at a predetermined first axial position (x) and a predetermined second axial position (y), wherein the direction of the first (x) and of the second (y) axial positions are perpendicular to another, selecting means (3, 4) for selecting the location (Z) on the display element (2) by selecting or pretending a definite first (x) and second (y) position for a cursor (5), wherein at least one of the selecting means (3, 4) are established as a slider element extending in a longitudinal direction (L) and having a surface (6) sensitive for touching with a finger (7) of the user, wherein a control unit is arranged to position the cursor (5) in a position or direction (x, y) on the display element (2) in dependence on the location or movement of the finger (7) on the slider element (3, 4) in the longitudinal direction (L). By this an improved interaction between the user and the oven becomes possible. Furthermore, the invention relates to a method for selecting and inputting an information into the control panel of the oven.

摘要： A mobile communication apparatus including a display and means for navigating among items displayed on the display, arranged to display a first list of items belonging to a higher hierarchical level on the display and being capable of enabling selection of a first item among the higher hierarchical level items by the means for navigation is disclosed. Upon selection of the first item, being arranged to insert and display a second list including at least one item belonging to a lower hierarchical level between the first item and subsequent higher hierarchical level items for enabling selection of a second item from the second list, wherein the second list is hierarchically associated with the first item. A corresponding application, apparatus and computer program are also disclosed.

摘要： An arrangement for cutting an optical fibre comprises a fibre cutter for cutting the fibre. A motor is provided to operate the cutter. To start a cutting movement, the motor is controlled by a control unit in response to a start signal. The start signal is generated when the fibre is located in the cutter. A detector is connected to the control unit to detect when the fibre snaps off and in response thereto cause the control unit to generate a stop signal to stop the cutting movement. If no fibre snap off is detected, the cutting movement is automatically stopped at a predetermined position of the cutter.
