摘要： An oven appliance or method may provide for directing a pre-cooking setting of a first heating element and receiving a first-sensor temperature signal from a first temperature sensor. Receiving the first-sensor temperature signal may occur during the pre-cooking setting of the first heating element. The method may also include determining a first progress value based on the first-sensor temperature signal and a first fractional constant. The first fractional constant may be a predetermined proportion of a pre-cooking phase. The method may further include receiving a second-sensor temperature signal from a second temperature sensor and determining a second progress value based on the second-sensor temperature signal and a second fractional constant. The second fractional constant may be a predetermined proportion of the pre-cooking phase. The method may still further include directing display of a progress icon based on the first progress value and the second progress value.

The restrictor block includes a first mating face that is configured to position adjacent the bezel on the appliance, and a second mating face is configured to position adjacent an inside surface of the knob. The restrictor block also includes a first pin positioned on the first mating face that is configured to restrict rotation of the restrictor block relative to the bezel, as well as a notch in a circumferential portion of the restrictor block. The notch is configured to restrict rotation of the knob relative to the bezel. While the restrictor block is installed within the knob, the knob is rotationally restricted.

The computing device comprises feedback components operable to receive the adjusted captured image, extract features, and analyze the one or more features to determine an event, property, measurement and/or status.
