Abstract: A cursor control method, for moving a cursor on a first displayed image and a second displayed image, comprising: (a) receiving a first displacement value when the cursor is within a first region of the first displayed image and receiving a second displacement value when the cursor is within a second region of the first displayed image; (b) moving the cursor with a first moving value on the first displayed image, which is obtained from the first displacement value and a first ratio; and (d) moving the cursor with a second moving value on a second displayed image, which is obtained from the second displacement value and a second ratio; wherein the first ratio is different from the second ratio; wherein the second displayed image is a zoom out and partial image of the first displayed image. By this way, the cursor movement accuracy can be increased.

Abstract: A joystick includes a first structural component, a second structural component, a light emitter, an optical sensor and a processor. The second structural component is assembled with the first structural component to form a chamber. The light emitter is disposed inside the chamber for illuminating one surface of the second structural component. The optical sensor is disposed inside the chamber for capturing the illuminated surface of the second structural component. The processor is electrically connected to the optical sensor and adapted to analyze an intensity distribution of the illuminated surface for determining if the joystick is obliquely pressed or laterally shifted in a relative manner.

Abstract: A force sensor device includes a first structure component, an optical sensor, and a flexible structure component. The optical sensor is disposed on the first structure component. The flexible structure component has a convex portion, and the flexible structure component is assembled with the first structure component to form a chamber in which the optical sensor is disposed. The optical sensor senses light ray transmitted from the flexible structure component to at least one pixel unit to generate at least one differential image and then detects a user's control force applied for the flexible structure component according to the at least one differential image. Differential image is temporal differential image, generated from successive pixel values of a single pixel unit, or is spatial differential image, generated based on temporal differential images of at least two neighboring pixel units.

Abstract: A joystick includes a casing, a stick body and an optical sensor. The casing has a hole. The stick body is movably disposed on the casing via the hole. The stick body includes a pressing portion, an indication portion and an identification pattern. The indication portion is connected to the pressing portion and inserts into the hole. A sunken structure is formed on a bottom of the indication portion. The identification pattern is disposed on an inner surface of the sunken structure. The optical sensor is disposed inside the casing and faces the sunken structure, and adapted to analyze a movement of the identification pattern to identify a control status of the stick body.
