Abstract: Certain aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to mobility support for wireless local area network (WLAN) devices, such as 60 GHz millimeter wave (e.g. IEEE 802.11ay) devices. An exemplary method includes obtaining an indication of a coherence time associated with a wireless node, generating a frame having additional Channel Estimation Fields, which can occur periodically in the frame, based at least in part on the indicated coherence time, or having Scattered Pilots in Orthogonal Frequency Division Multiplexing (OFDM) symbols, and outputting the frame for transmission to the wireless node.
