Abstract: An improved method for protein labeling comprising the steps of providing a synthetic small molecule tag, providing a target protein to be tagged, providing at least two enzymes for catalyzing a conjugation reaction between the tag and the target protein, incubating the tag, the protein and the enzyme, and allowing the tag to conjugate to the target protein. The tag may embody at least one structural feature of an ubiquitin C-terminus, and the structural feature may comprise a recognition sequence that is recognizable by an ubiquitin activating enzyme.

Abstract: A method to improve TCP throughput by separating TCP acknowledgment flow from TCP normal data flow in a wireless communications environment. This method creates dedicated signaling air interface link and signaling A10 link for TCP acknowledgment flow and assigns a higher priority value to TOS field of IP packets encapsulating TCP acknowledgments than those encapsulating TCP normal data.

Abstract: The present invention according to certain embodiments is directed to a method, device and apparatus for repairing a plurality of memory locations. The present invention includes providing a plurality of memory locations, providing a plurality of fuses coupled to the memory locations and loading fuse data into a data register from a plurality of read-only memory (ROM) devices thereby creating loaded fuse data. The present invention also provides loading a programming sequence of the memory device, wherein the programming sequence includes a plurality of memory addresses, and reading the loaded fuse data from the fuse register to a plurality of memory locations corresponding to the plurality of memory addresses.

Abstract: The present invention relates to an arrangement for point-to-point transmission over links between first and second link (end) terminals in a system implementing time division duplex (TDD) and wherein information is sent over the links in frames divided into time slots. It is adapted to determine the lengths of the frames on a per link basis using one or more link parameters, the frame length hence being variable.
