Abstract: A projection device includes a plurality of solid-state lighting sources driven by a DC drive power to sequentially provide a first light generated by a first number of light sources, a second light generated by a second number of light sources and a third light generated by a third number of light sources within a response cycle; and a color wheel having a first block, a second block and a third block, respectively corresponding to the first to third lights, so that the projection device sequentially outputs a first color light with a first brightness, a second color light with a second brightness and a third color light with a third brightness. The brightness of the first to third lights is controlled by number of light sources to be turn on.

Abstract: A multicolor light mixing module includes a collimator lens disposed on a light-entrance axis and having first and second lens portions, a laser source set including first and second lighting units arranged sequentially for emitting first and second color lights respectively, a reflective unit, a reflective diffusing member and a lens array disposed corresponding to at least one of the first and second lens portions for mixing the first and second color lights. The reflective unit is obliquely disposed on the light-entrance axis and opposite to the first and second lighting units for reflecting the first and second color lights to the first lens portion along the light-entrance axis. The reflective diffusing member is disposed at a side of the collimator lens to homogenize the first and second laser lights and reflect the first and second color lights to the second lens portion along a first light-exit axis.

Abstract: A multicolor light mixing module includes a first laser set, a light-mixing unit, a light-homogenizing member and a condensing lens. The first laser set includes a plurality of first lighting units and at least one second lighting unit arranged symmetrically relative to a first symmetrical axis. The light-mixing unit is obliquely disposed on a first light-mixing axis and is opposite to the first lighting unit and the second lighting unit for reflecting a first color light of the first lighting unit and a second color light of the second lighting unit to cooperatively form a first laser beam along the first light-mixing axis. The light-homogenizing member is disposed on the first light-mixing axis for homogenizing the first laser beam. The condensing lens is disposed on the first light-mixing axis and located between the light-homogenizing member and the light-mixing unit for condensing the first laser beam.

Abstract: An illumination system, configured to generate an illumination light beam, is provided. The illumination system includes an excitation light source configured to emit an excitation light beam and a light guide module, a collimation lens group, and a wavelength conversion element disposed on a transmission path of the excitation light beam. After being emitted from the excitation light source, the excitation light beam is reflected by the light guide module, passes through the collimation lens group, and is transmitted to the wavelength conversion element. A part of the excitation light beam is reflected by the wavelength conversion element, and passes through the collimation lens group and the light guide module. Another part of the excitation light beam is converted into a conversion light beam by the wavelength conversion element. The conversion light beam passes through the collimation lens group and the light guide module. A projection device is also provided.

Abstract: An alignment module includes a light source module, a collimator lens, a wavelength transformation module, a polarizing beamsplitter and a quarter wave plate. The light source module provides a first illumination beam with a first polarization state. The wavelength transformation module receives the first illumination beam to generate an actuation beam and reflect the first illumination beam. The polarizing beamsplitter is disposed between the light source module and the collimator lens and allows passing of the actuation beam. The quarter wave plate is disposed on a downstream of the polarizing beamsplitter. The first illumination beam with the first polarization state is transformed into a second illumination beam with a second polarization state via the quarter wave plate.

Abstract: A light source system includes a first light emitter configured to emit a first light with a first color band in a first time interval of a time period, a second light emitter configured to emit a second light with a second color band in a second time interval of the time period rather than in the rest of the time period other than the second time interval, and a light guide disposed downstream from the first light emitter and the second light emitter. The first time interval and the second time interval overlap in an overlapping time interval. The first light emitter and the second light emitter synchronously emit the first light and the second light in the overlapping time interval to form a combined light beam in the light guide. The light with the second color band is dominant of the combined light beam.
