Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive an indication of a number of bits to be used in a downlink control information (DCI) message, the bits configured to indicate a transmission reception point (TRP) mode configuration for one or more subsequent communications. The UE may receive the DCI message having the number of bits to indicate the TRP mode configuration for the subsequent communications. Numerous other aspects are described.

Abstract: Aspects of the disclosure are directed to methods and techniques for wireless communication via non-codebook beam directions to allow dynamic beamforming using non-codebook beam directions. In certain aspects, a user equipment (UE) may obtain, from a wireless node, a plurality of reference signals (RSs) via one or more receive beams, wherein each of the one or more receive beams is characterized by one of a plurality of codebook beam directions. In certain aspects, the UE may estimate a first non-codebook beam direction of a transmit beam of the wireless node based on a measurement of one or more RSs of the plurality of RSs. In certain aspects, the UE may output a report comprising an indication of the first non-codebook beam direction for transmission to the wireless node.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. Repetitions of a reference signal may be transmitted by a first device. In some examples, the repetitions may be quasi-colocated with one another, share an antenna port, or both. The repetitions of the reference signal may arrive at a reconfigurable surface. The reconfigurable surface may apply a modulation sequence to the repetitions of the reference signal and output modulated repetitions of the reference signal in a direction based on a reflective state of the reconfigurable surface. A signal including the modulated repetitions of the reference signal may be received by a second device and combined with the modulation sequence used by the reconfigurable surface to obtain a combined signal. The combined signal may be used to determine, for the reconfigurable surface, information about a channel between the first device and the second device.

Abstract: An apparatus equipped with multiple antenna panels for wireless communication is provided. The apparatus receives a configuration message including a serving cell configuration and a bandwidth part configuration, wherein the serving cell configuration includes first timing advance information for a component carrier, and wherein the bandwidth part configuration includes second timing advance information for a bandwidth part of the component carrier. The apparatus transmits a first uplink signal (e.g., via a first antenna panel) to a first transmission reception point (TRP) using the bandwidth part based on at least a first timing advance value associated with the first timing advance information. The apparatus transmits a second uplink signal (e.g., via a second antenna panel) to a second TRP using the bandwidth part based on at least a second timing advance value associated with the second timing advance information.

Abstract: Methods, systems, and devices for wireless communications are described. A user equipment (UE) may determine a timing advance value to use for an uplink transmission based on a unified transmission configuration indicator (TCI) state associated with the uplink transmission. In some examples, the control signaling configuring a unified TCI state for an uplink transmission may indicate the timing advance value for the uplink transmission. In some examples, the UE may receive control signaling indicating an association between a set of timing advance values for the component carrier associated with a set of unified TCI states or a set of unified TCI groups, and the UE may determine the timing advance value for a given uplink transmission based on the TCI state or TCI group indicated for the uplink transmission.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may determine a monitoring window for monitoring a search space set for a physical downlink control channel (PDCCH) wakeup signal (WUS), where the monitoring window is a portion of a configured monitoring window for the search space set. The UE may monitor the WUS search space set within the monitoring window for the PDCCH WUS. Numerous other aspects are provided.

Abstract: Various aspects of the present disclosure generally relate to wireless communication. In some aspects, a user equipment (UE) may receive, from a network node associated with a first transmit-receive point (TRP) identifier (ID) and a second TRP ID, an uplink repetition configuration comprising a first mapping between the first TRP ID and a first uplink repetition component and a second mapping between the second TRP ID and a second uplink repetition component. The UE may transmit a first uplink transmission corresponding to the first TRP ID based at least in part on the first mapping. The UE may transmit a second uplink transmission corresponding to the second TRP ID based at least in part on the second mapping. Numerous other aspects are described.
