摘要： A footrest is provided for a child riding on a tricycle. The footrest has a housing having a foot platform and a retaining assembly. The foot platform has a top surface and a bottom surface, wherein the top surface is adapted to receive a foot of the user. The retaining assembly is adapted to separately engage one of a fork of the tricycle, a fender for the front wheel of the tricycle, and a crank of the tricycle. Additionally, the footrest does not engage the tricycle body extending between the front fork and the rear wheels of the tricycle.
