    摘要: An aerosol delivery device is provided that comprises a housing equipped with a heating element, a resistance temperature detector (RTD) and a control component. The housing may contain an aerosol precursor composition, and the heating element may be controllable to activate and vaporize components of the aerosol precursor composition. The RTD may have a resistance that is variable and proportional to a temperature of the heating element, and may also have a temperature coefficient of resistance that is suitably large enough and invariable with respect to the temperature of the heating element. The control component may be configured to measure the resistance of the RTD and therefrom determine the temperature of the heating element, and control at least one functional element in real time based on the temperature so determined, including output of the temperature for presentation by a display, or adjustment of the power to the heating element.

The aerosol production assembly may include a reservoir that contains an aerosol precursor composition and an atomizer that receives the aerosol precursor composition from the reservoir and heats the aerosol precursor composition to produce an aerosol. The aerosol production assembly may additionally include a body that directs the aerosol through an outlet. The body may include a surface including a micro-pattern that defines at least one of hydrophobic and anti-microbial properties. The surface including the micro-pattern may not include a chemical coating that provides these properties. Rather, the surface may define a three-dimensional structure that provides hydrophobic and/or anti-microbial properties. A related assembly method is also provided.

The cartridge may contain an aerosol precursor composition and be equipped with a heating element configured to activate and vaporize components of the aerosol precursor composition. The control body may comprise a housing and a power source detachably coupled to an outer surface of the housing. A control component may be contained within the housing and configured to operate in an active mode in which the control body is coupled with the cartridge. The control component in the active mode may be configured to direct power from the power source to the heating element to activate and vaporize components of the aerosol precursor composition.

    摘要: The present disclosure is directed to an aerosol delivery device. The aerosol delivery device may include one or more fill ports. Thereby, a reservoir of the aerosol delivery device may be refillable. The fill ports may be defined in a base of a cartridge of the aerosol delivery device. The aerosol delivery device may further include a flow director. An atomizer may extend through the flow director transversely to a longitudinal length of the flow director. The atomizer may include a liquid transport element with a capillary channel extending therethrough, which may receive aerosol precursor composition from the reservoir. There aerosol precursor composition may be drawn through the liquid transport element to a heating element of the atomizer, which may vaporize the aerosol precursor composition.
