    摘要: A laser-emitting head (12) is placed in a cavity (6) of an aluminum hollow and profile material (3), the material being of a desired shape in cross section and having an inner peripheral wall. A laser beam of an energy level capable of cutting the material is irradiated from the cavity onto the inner peripheral wall while the head is being rotated along the wall in a circular direction. The hollow and profile material (3) can be sliced in this manner to produce knuckles (1) as one of automobile parts, even if it is of a comparatively large size adapted for production of larger knuckles.

    摘要: A Rankine cycle system has a condenser, a refrigerant circulating pump connected to the condenser, a heat collecting device connected to the refrigerant circulating pump, and an expansion turbine connected to the heat collecting device and the condenser. The refrigerant circulating pump includes an expansion tank or pressure vessel, a refrigerant supply conduit connected to the lower part of the expansion tank and to the condenser, and a refrigerant discharge conduit connected to the upper part of the expansion tank. An open/close valve is installed in the refrigerant supply conduit. A pressure regulating valve installed in the refrigerant discharge pipe opens when a pressure reaches a specified value or higher. A temperature regulating device can heat the refrigerant in the expansion tank to produce a refrigerant vapor of saturated temperature or higher, which vapor can be introduced into the heat collecting device.

The aforementioned cover is comprised of a hollow holder with an arcuate cross section that holds the aforementioned cylindrical bushing. On the holder, joints corresponding to the joints of the aforementioned receptacle are provided. The cylindrical bushing is inserted into the holder of the aforementioned receptacle, and the aforementioned cover is placed with its holder lining with the cylindrical bushing, bonding the aforementioned corresponding joints by means of a coupling structure that uses a plastic deformation; thus the holders are maintained in a closed state and the cylindrical bushing is clamped.

The probe is protruded from a part of an end face of the rotor. A groove is formed at least on a middle portion of a peripheral surface of the probe so as to extend in the axial direction of the probe. The probe is provided with an agitating protrusion formed only on a region of from the basal end portion of the probe to a longitudinal middle portion. In a friction agitation joining method according to the present invention, the rotating probe of the aforementioned joining tool inserted into stacked joining members such that the groove crosses a superposed interface between the joining members and that the protrusion is buried only in one of the joining members located at a probe basal end side. While keeping this state, the probe is moved relative to the joining members to thereby join the joining members.
