摘要: A service entrance barrier for a load center that includes a housing and a service entrance having at least one branch fed main breaker electrically connected to branch feed lines. The service entrance barrier is securable to the load center housing to prevent human contact with electrically energized parts located in the service entrance of the load center. The service entrance barrier includes a main body portion, at least one mounting leg extending from the main body portion, a protection tab extending from said main body portion, and a non-conductive sleeve encompassing the protection tab.

摘要: A water-resistant busway with a water drainage duct of the present invention (10) comprises a joint assembly (12) arranged between the ends of first and second busway housings (14, 16). Joint assembly (12) includes a water-resistant cover (30) releasably attached to first and second housings (14, 16) by cover fastening devices (32, 34). Water-resistant cover (30) includes an access hole (36) disposed therein, with access hole (36) receiving a complementary access hole plug (38). Housing spacers (22, 24, 26, 28) each include a water drainage duct (118) disposed therein to drain water from above the water barrier (104) and web (46) of upper piece (42) of housing (14) to below the water barrier and web (46) of the lower piece (44) of housing (14).

摘要: A circuit breaker configured to be remotely operated is disclosed. The circuit breaker includes a set of main contacts configured to connect between an electrical source and an electrical load, an operating mechanism in operable communication to open and close the main contacts, and a remotely operable drive system configured to open and close the main contacts separate from actuation of the operating mechanism. The drive system includes a motor responsive to first and second control signals, a primary drive responsive to the motor, and an opening spring responsive to the primary drive, the main contacts being responsive to the opening spring. In response to the first control signal, the primary drive moves to charge the opening spring, and in response to the second control signal and the main contacts being closed, the primary drive moves to allow the opening spring to discharge thereby resulting in the main contacts opening independent of the motor.

摘要: A circuit breaker configured to be remotely operated by a controller is disclosed. The circuit breaker includes a set of main contacts, an operating mechanism, a remotely operable drive system configured to open and close the main contacts separate from actuation of the operating mechanism, and a control circuit in operable communication with the main contacts. The drive system includes a motor, and a primary drive responsive to the motor and in operable communication to open and close the main contacts. The control circuit indicates a closed main contact state in response to the operating mechanism being in an on position and the main contacts being closed, and an open main contact state in response to the operating mechanism being in an on position and the main contacts being held open via the drive system.

摘要: A solid rocket motor grain construction is disclosed for use in a ramjet to improve performance. The solid fuel burn enhancer adds oxidizer for burn rate control. Two constructions are disclosed. The inlaid approach places cores of solid low-oxidizer fuel within solid unoxidized fuel and the integrated approach provides shells of low oxidizer around the solid unoxidized fuel. The low-oxidizer fuel has a faster burn rate and smaller burn area requirements than the unoxidized fuel. During initial ramjet operation, when the burn area is constrained, the low-oxidizer fuel burns initially with its smaller burn area requirements. Subsequently, the conventional unoxidized fuel burns when larger burn areas are available.
