    Abstract: An apparatus for estimating blood pressure is provided. The apparatus may include a pulse wave sensor configured to measure from an object, a plurality of pulse wave signals having different wavelengths, a force sensor configured to measure a contact force applied by the object to the pulse wave sensor, and a processor configured to extract, from the plurality of pulse wave signals, at least one similarity feature indicating a similarity between the plurality of pulse wave signals, and estimate the blood pressure based on the similarity and the contact force that is measured at a point in time at which the at least one similarity feature is extracted.

    Abstract: A blood pressure measuring apparatus includes a pulse wave sensor configured to detect a pulse wave signal of an object, a pressure sensor configured to detect a contact pressure signal corresponding to a contact pressure between the object and the pulse wave sensor, and a processor configured to generate a pulse wave image based on the detected pulse wave signal of the object, generate a contact pressure image based on the detected contact pressure signal corresponding to the contact pressure between the object and the pressure sensor, and estimate a blood pressure of the object based on the generated pulse wave image, the generated contact pressure image, and a blood pressure estimation model.

    Abstract: Provided is an apparatus configured to estimate bio-information, the apparatus including a pulse wave sensor including a plurality of channels disposed in an isotropic shape, a force sensor configured to measure a force applied by an object to the pulse wave sensor, and a processor configured to detect a center of gravity based on pressure, applied by the object, in a space formed by the plurality of channels based on pulse wave signals measured by each of the plurality of channels included in the pulse wave sensor, provide a user with guide information with respect to contact of the object to the pulse wave sensor based on the detected center of gravity, and estimate bio-information based on the pulse wave signals and the force which are measured based on the guide information.
