Abstract: An electronic device may comprise: a battery; a charging circuit; a wireless power receiver circuit configured to acquire transmitted power wirelessly output from an external electronic device; and a processor. The processor may be configured to control the electronic device to: charge the battery through the charging circuit using received power acquired through the wireless power receiver circuit; identify at least one piece of information related to the charging, while the charging operation is performed; transmit a designated signal corresponding to suspension of the transmitted power to the external electronic device such that the external electronic device enters a wireless charging standby mode, in which the external electronic device holds the operation of outputting the transmitted power, at least partially based on the at least one piece of information; identify first situation information regarding the electronic device during the wireless charging standby mode; identify second situation information regarding the electronic device, in response to identifying the first situation information; and sense the electronic device being detached from the external electronic device based on the electronic device corresponding to the first situation information and the second situation information.

Abstract: An electronic device includes a wireless charging coil, a wireless charging circuit, a power management module, a battery, and a processor. The processor is configured to control to receive first information from an external electronic device while transmitting wireless charging power to the external electronic device through the wireless charging circuit, to control, in response to receiving the first information, the wireless charging circuit to stop transmission of the wireless charging power and operate in a state of transmitting and receiving a ping signal, to check whether a predetermined time has elapsed since the transmission of the wireless charging power is stopped, and to control, in response to elapse of the predetermined time, the wireless charging circuit to retransmit the wireless charging power to the external electronic device. Other embodiments are possible.

Abstract: A first electronic device configured to receive power wirelessly according to an embodiment may include: a power receiving circuit including a plurality of capacitors, at least one coil, and at least one switch, a rectifier including a plurality of transistors, and a control circuit. The control circuit according to an embodiment may be configured to: set the plurality of capacitors and the at least one coil to a first connection state through the at least one switch, based on a frequency specified by a second electronic device transmitting power wirelessly; receive alternating current (AC) power wirelessly from the second electronic device through the power receiving circuit set to the first connection state; control the plurality of transistors included in the rectifier to rectify the power received from the second electronic device; identify a first voltage of power rectified to direct current (DC) through the rectifier; set the plurality of capacitors and the at least one coil to a second connection state through the at least one switch to increase an impedance of the plurality of capacitors and/or change a resonant frequency of the power, based on identifying that the first voltage is greater than a first threshold; and control the plurality of transistors included in the rectifier to freewheel the power received from the second electronic device.

The wireless charging circuitry receives a signal for wirelessly transferring power to an external electronic device from the processor, receives information about the external electronic device, receives a power control signal from the external electronic device via the conductive coil, applies a charging current of a first frequency to the conductive coil based at least in part on a request signal, increases a frequency of the charging current, compares the increased frequency with a first value, and adjusts a duty cycle of the charging current.
