Abstract: An electronic device may include a housing and a PhotoPlethysmoGram (PPG) sensor disposed inside the housing. The PPG sensor may include a first Light Emitting Diode (LED) configured to generate light in a first wavelength band, a second LED configured to generate light in a second wavelength band, a third LED configured to generate light in a third wavelength band, a fourth LED configured to generate light in a fourth wavelength band, and a light receiving module including at least one photo diode. The electronic device may include a processor operatively coupled with the PPG sensor and a memory operatively coupled with the processor. The memory may include instructions that, when executed, cause the processor to measure optical densities of the light generated by the first LED to the fourth LED, and calculate a blood glucose value based at least in part on the measured optical densities.

Abstract: The present disclosure provides an electronic device including a sensor which measures first biometric information, a communication unit which receives second biometric information measured by at least one wearable device, and a processor operatively connected with the sensor and the communication unit, and the processor calculates a correlation between the first biometric information and the second biometric information, grant, to at least one wearable device, an authenticated authority based on the correlation, the authenticated authority being an authority to approve performance of a specified operation, and sets an authenticated authority level that is a step classified based on reliability of the authenticated authority. In addition to the above, various embodiments identified using the specification are possible.

Abstract: An electronic device for measuring blood pressure and an operating method thereof are provided. The electronic device includes, at least one sensor, a processor, and a memory operatively connected with the processor, and, when being executed, the memory stores instructions that cause the processor to select one waveform template from a plurality of waveform templates stored in the memory, based on at least one of a state of a user, a posture of the user, or a measuring environment, and to determine a blood pressure value of the user by using the selected waveform template and a biometric signal obtained from the at least one sensor.
