Abstract: A backlight structure comprises a back plate which light emitting bodies are disposed on the back plate, and a bump structure is disposed on the back plate. The light emitting bodies are disposed on the bump structure. The bump structure can be protruding bars, or cylindrical ring stands having the same concentric point. Also, a liquid crystal display device which the backlight structure used in is disclosed. The backlight structure changes some parameters, such as the light emitting angle of the lamps and the light density, by fixing the light emitting bodies of the backlight structure on the curved back plate, so that it is conductive to uniform the light source, enhance the efficiency of the mixed light and reduce the thickness of the direct type back light structure.

Abstract: A backlight module for curved liquid crystal display device and a curved liquid crystal display device are disclosed. The backlight module comprises a backplate, a light guide plate and a backlight source that are arranged in the backplate, and quantum tubes that are arranged between the light guide plate and the backlight source, wherein a fold line which matches a curved surface of the curved liquid crystal display device is formed by the quantum tubes. In the backlight module, the fold line that is formed by the quantum tubes can be fitted into a curved line so as to match the curved surface of the curved liquid crystal display device. The quantum tubes can be applied to the curved liquid crystal display device through this arrangement, whereby the color purity of the curved liquid crystal display device can be improved, and the color gamut thereof can be enlarged.

Abstract: A backplate molding device includes a top mold and a down mode. The top mold includes a plurality of punching heads having curved operation surfaces and a pressure plate. The punching heads are arranged in multi-sections and the pressure plate is arranged at a lateral side of the punching heads in the multi-section. An operation surface of the down mold is a curved surface engageable with the operation surfaces of the punching heads in the multi-section, and edges of the down mold cooperatively engages with the pressure plate to fix backplate materials. A punching process is applied toward the backplate material by bonding the operation surface of the punching heads with the operation surface of the down mold in sequence to plastically deform the backplate materials. The present disclosure also relates to a backplate molding method.

Abstract: The backlight module contains a back plate and a middle frame. The middle frame contains at least three positioning strips positioned along three edges on a side of the back plate facing a light emission face of the backlight module. A display device containing the backlight module is also disclosed. The back plate provides locking mechanisms involving side walls and locking pieces, and the separate strips of the middle frame are slid into position along the back plate and reliably locked. There is no need to use bolts or other fastening means, reducing the difficulty in assembly/disassembly. The thinning of the backlight module and the display device is effectively achieved.

Abstract: A structural component of liquid crystal panels and gate COFs, and a LCD are disclosed. One end of the gate COF structure connects to an edge of the liquid crystal panel, and the gate COF structure is bent from the edge of the liquid crystal panel toward a back side of the liquid crystal panel. The other end of the gate COF structure connects to the back side of the liquid crystal panel, and the backlight module is arranged behind the gate COF structure. The front frame is arranged around an outer side of the bending portion of the gate COF structure, and the liquid crystal panel, the backlight module, and the front frame cooperatively define a receiving space for the gate COF structures. The enhanced gate COF structures of the liquid crystal panel are compact such that the thin and narrow border design may be realized.

Abstract: A snap-fit for fixing optical films is disclosed. The optical film includes at least one ear hook arranged above a border of a plastic frame. The plastic frame is assembled with a back frame so as to fix a light guiding plate within the back frame. The snap-fit includes a press portion and a connection portion extending from a first side of the press portion. The connection portion and the press portion cooperatively form an angle with a predetermined degree. The press portion presses the ear hook of the optical films on the border of the plastic frame. The connection portion clasps with the hook of the sidewall. By adopting the snap-fit, not only the narrow bezel design can be achieved, but also the optical film can be stably fixed. A backlight module with the above snap-fit and the liquid crystal display are also disclosed.

Abstract: The lighting device contains a substrate and a plurality of lighting elements arranged in at least two parallel rows on a front side of the substrate. The lighting elements of the two rows neighbor on each other. The front side of the substrate is configured so that an included angle is formed between the lighting elements of the two rows. Their light therefore converges within a Quantum Dots (QD) tube before entering a light guide plate.
