Abstract: An image contrast enhancement method includes calling a neural network trained using a set of image pairs each including a first image and a second image for a same scene, inputting a third image to the neural network, and obtaining a fourth image outputted by mapping the third image via the neural network. An image contrast of the first image is lower than an image contrast of the second image, and an image contrast of the fourth image is higher than an image contrast of the third image.
