Abstract: A display device includes a substrate on which a thin film transistor is positioned, a pixel electrode positioned on the thin film transistor and connected to the thin film transistor, a roof layer separated from the pixel electrode via a microcavity interposed therebetween, and a liquid crystal layer positioned in the microcavity and including a liquid crystal material and a dichroic dye.
