Abstract: A curved liquid crystal display includes an upper curved substrate; a lower curved substrate; a liquid crystal layer including liquid crystal molecules having negative dielectric anisotropy and between the upper and lower curved substrates; an upper curved liquid crystal alignment layer between the liquid crystal layer and the upper curved substrate; a lower curved liquid crystal alignment layer between the liquid crystal layer and the lower curved substrate. In a first region, a content of a reactive mesogen polymer per unit area of the lower curved liquid crystal alignment layer is higher that of the upper curved liquid crystal alignment layer, and in a second region, the content of the reactive mesogen polymer per unit area of the upper curved liquid crystal alignment layer is higher than that of the lower curved liquid crystal alignment layer.
