    Abstract: A method for restoring deterioration data of a display device, includes: reading deterioration data from a first storage unit; determining whether the deterioration data is abnormal by comparing a first deterioration value of a first block with adjacent deterioration values of adjacent blocks adjacent to the first block; restoring the deterioration data based on a look-up table in which a luminance retention rate according to a degree of deterioration is set and sensing data provided from a sensing unit, when the deterioration data is determined to be abnormal; and generating second image data by compensating for first image data based on the restored deterioration data. The display device includes blocks each including a pixel, the blocks include the first and adjacent blocks, the deterioration data includes deterioration values each representing a degree of deterioration of each of the blocks, and the deterioration values include the first and adjacent deterioration values.

    Abstract: A display device and a method of driving the same. The display device includes a display panel including a plurality of pixels, a degradation compensator configured to output compensation data based on age values of the plurality of pixels and an input grayscale value of input image data, a scan driver configured to supply a scan signal to the display panel, and a data driver configured to supply a data signal corresponding to the compensation data to the display panel. The degradation compensator includes a first compensation unit configured to generate a first compensation grayscale value with reference to the input grayscale value and a first age value, and a second compensation unit configured to generate a second compensation grayscale value with reference to the first compensation grayscale value and the first age value.

    Abstract: A display device includes: a display panel for displaying frames during an elapse of time; and an emission driver for providing first and second emission power sources to the display panel, wherein: each of the frames comprises a first light emitting period, a light non-emitting period and a second light emitting period according to a time sequence, a difference value between the first and second emission power sources is substantially equal to or greater than a reference value during the first and second light emitting periods, and is less than the reference value during the light non-emitting period, and the difference value between the first and second emission power sources decreases over an elapse of time during the first light emitting period, and increases over an elapse of time during the second light emitting period.

    Abstract: There are provided a display device, driving method and sensing unit thereof, where a display device includes a display unit having pixels connected to signal lines; a sensing unit including at least one current sensor connected to at least one of the signal lines; and a compensator connected between the sensing unit and the display unit, wherein the compensator is configured to: calculate degradation weights for positions of the pixels, based on a sensing current measured by the sensing unit and a predetermined reference current value, update degradation accumulated values for the positions whenever the sensing current is measured, by accumulating degradation degrees in which the degradation weights are reflected, generate compensated grayscale values by compensating input grayscale values based on the updated degradation accumulated values, and output the compensated grayscale values to the pixels.
