Abstract:
A dryer includes a main body, a drying chamber provided inside the main body and configured to accommodate objects to be dried, a conveying unit configured to convey the objects to be dried, a sensor unit configured to sense information on states of the objects to be dried, and a control unit configured to control the conveying unit to move the objects to be dried based on the information sensed by the sensor unit.
Abstract:
A washing machine which performs a washing operation by heating water, a detergent, or a wash liquid using a dielectric heating method and a method of controlling the washing machine. The washing machine may include a water supply portion which supplies a wash liquid including water and a detergent, a power supply portion which supplies alternating current (AC) power, and an electric field forming portion which forms an electric field between a first electrode portion and a second electrode portion according to the AC power to heat the supplied wash liquid.
Abstract:
An image fixing device includes a heat source configured to generate heat, a fixing belt heated by the heat source and disposed to be rotatable, a rotational member disposed to be opposite to the fixing belt and to press a printing medium to the fixing belt, and a supporting member to support an inner circumferential surface of the fixing belt so as to form a fixing nip between the fixing belt and the rotational member and having a plurality of heat insulation grooves formed in a surface thereof so as to reduce thermal conductivity of the supporting member. By the configuration of the present general inventive concept, it is possible to prevent or minimize a heat loss of the fixing belt and thus to enhance image forming efficiency.
Abstract:
Disclosed herein is a fusing device. The fusing device includes a first heating source including a first heater and a first conductor connected to the first heater, a second heating source including a second heater and a second conductor connected to the second heater, a fusing member heated by at least one of the first heating source and the second heating source. The fusing device includes a pressing member disposed to face the fusing member to press a printing medium toward the fusing member, where the first heating source includes a first non-heater portion in which the first heater or the first conductor is sealed so that a part of the first heating source does not generate heat.
Abstract:
A fusing device having a structure which may improve fusing performance is provided. The fusing device includes a heating roller disposed to contact a surface of the recording medium to transfer heat thereto, an endless belt disposed to rotate together with the heating roller, and a pressing member to press an inner surface of the endless belt to allow a fusing nip to be formed between the heating roller and the endless belt. The heating roller includes a shaft formed in a cylindrical shape, a heat-generating layer disposed to surround the shaft and to generate heat to heat the recording medium passing through the fusing nip, an insulating layer disposed between the shaft and the heat-generating layer to electrically insulate the heat-generating layer and the shaft, and a release layer disposed to surround the heat-generating layer and adapted to prevent the recording medium passing through the fusing nip from sticking to the heating roller.
