Abstract: A washing machine appliance includes a wash basket that is rotatably mounted within a wash tub and that defines a wash chamber for receiving a load of clothes. A camera assembly is used to monitor articles for washing within the wash basket. Specifically, a controller of the washing machine appliance uses the camera assembly to obtain a reference image and one or more test images, which utilize image recognition to assess turn-over of the articles for washing during a given wash cycle. When turn-over performance is inadequate, a controller may adjust one or more operating parameters of the wash cycle to improve performance. Turn-over performance of the wash cycle is determined to be adequate once the image recognition process fails to find adequate correlation between the reference image and the test image a predetermined number of times.

Abstract: A electronic apparatus including: a tub; a washing tub arrangeable inside the tub to accommodate laundry; a motor; a water supply module; a drainage module; a water level sensor; a processor; and memory to store instructions. When the instructions are executed, the processor is configured to: control the water supply module to supply the washing tub with water up to a wash water level that is higher than the wash water level of a standard wash cycle; control wash of the laundry by driving the motor according to a set wash operation rate; control the drainage module to drain water from the tub; control a spin-dry operation of the laundry by driving the motor according to a set spin-drying RPM; control the water supply module to supply water to the washing tub; and control a rinsing of the laundry according to a set rinsing operation rate.

Abstract: A laundry apparatus contains a steamer for providing steam, a first unit for blowing the steam towards a fabric and a second unit for blowing a hot gaseous matter towards the fabric, wherein the hot gaseous matter is formed by heating the gaseous matter also with the steam. An apparatus for removing wrinkles from garments contains a hanger for hanging a garment, a steam tube to blow steam into a sleeve of the garment, and an expandable component underneath the shoulder. The expandable component is in a compact state when the sleeve of the garment is initially hung from the shoulder, and in an expanded state to close the passage between the sleeve and a torso of the garment, wherein the steam blocked by the expandable component operates to remove wrinkles in the sleeve.

Abstract: A laundry appliance having a treatment chamber and a control unit configured to perform a first set of phases of a selected treatment cycle using a dose of a treatment agent, and a treatment agent delivering device. The control unit is further configured to: receive a first command that enables the delivering device and thereupon: calculate a first amount of treatment agent, and cause the delivering device to deliver the dose to the laundry treatment chamber; and, upon receiving a second command for an intensive treatment mode: cause the laundry appliance to perform a second set of phases in addition to said first set of phases, and calculate a second amount of treatment agent when both the first and second commands are received, so that said dose comprises said first amount of treatment agent plus said second amount of treatment agent.
