Abstract:
A method for transmitting data of multimedia content is provided. A packet including a packet header and a packet payload is identified. The packet payload includes an access unit including media data related to the multimedia content and information related to the access unit. Control information for delivery and consumption of the multimedia content is identified. The identified packet is transmitted. The identified control information is transmitted separately from the packet. The control information includes type information related to content in the multimedia content, discovery information related to the content in the multimedia content, and relationship information related to contents in the multimedia content.
Abstract:
A method and an apparatus for reproducing content by a terminal in a multimedia system are provided. The method includes receiving segment information from a first content provider for providing a first content, and reproducing a second content at a specific time point in a reproduction period of the first content based on the received segment information. The segment information comprises information on a time point when reproduction of the first content is to be stopped and an identifier indicating a reproduction period of the second content which is to be reproduced after the reproduction of the first content is stopped.
Abstract:
The present disclosure provides a data transmission method of a system in an IP based broadcasting network, the data transmission method comprising the steps of: generating an MPEG media transport protocol (MMTP) packet using a media processing unit (MPU) for a service; generating an IP packet using the MMTP packet; generating a layer 2 (L2) packet using the IP packet and generating a layer 1 (L1) packet stream using the L2 packet; and transmitting the L1 packet stream, wherein absolute time information of the system is included in one of a transmission frame of the L1 packet stream and the L2 packet.
Abstract:
An interface is provided for providing a media service. The interface includes an encapsulation layer for encapsulating coded media data, a delivery layer for transmitting the encapsulated media data to another entity, and a control layer for controlling transmission of the media data.
Abstract:
A method for supplying an N-screen service by a main N-screen device in a broadcast system is provided. The method includes receiving an Application Information Table (AIT) including a screen_type indicating a type of N-screen device in which a broadcast service application will be run from a broadcast service provider, and one of running the broadcast service application based on the screen_type, performing an operation related to running the broadcast service application by considering a connection relationship between the main N-screen device and a sub N-screen device based on the screen_type, and discarding the AIT based on the screen_type.
