Abstract:
A composite cathode active material, a method of preparing the composite cathode active material, a cathode including the composite cathode active material, and a lithium battery including the cathode. The composite cathode active material includes a lithium intercalatable material; and a garnet oxide, wherein an amount of the garnet oxide is about 1.9 wt % or less, based on a total weight of the composite cathode active material.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for forming a multi-focus of an ultrasound transducer array. Accordingly, by simultaneously forming multiple focal points while minimizing grating lobes in an operation of a High Intensity Focused Ultrasound (HIFU) device, a damage to organs around a lesion during therapy using the HIFU device may be prevented.
Abstract:
Disclosed are a display driving circuit and a display apparatus including the same. A display driving circuit includes a first amplifier configured to drive a first data line of a display panel based on first pixel data and a second amplifier configured to drive a second data line of the display panel based on second pixel data, wherein, when a first data difference between the first pixel data and the second pixel data is greater than or equal to a data value indicating one grayscale and is less than or equal to a first threshold value, the second amplifier is turned off, and the first amplifier is configured to drive the first data line and the second data line based on the first pixel data and the second pixel data.
Abstract:
A method of generating an ultrasound elastic image includes: inducing a shear wave that propagates in a second direction by transmitting a first ultrasound signal including a push signal to an object in a first direction, by a curved array probe; transmitting a second ultrasound signal to the object and receiving an echo signal reflected by the object in response to the second ultrasound signal, via the curved array probe; and generating an elastic image of the object by using the received echo signal. The second ultrasound signal includes a plane wave having a straight line waveform parallel to the second direction.
Abstract:
A method of displaying an elastography image and an ultrasound diagnosis apparatus performing the method are provided. The method includes transmitting an ultrasound signal to an object, receiving a response signal to the transmitted ultrasound signal, determining ultrasound image data based on the received response signal, determining displacement image data based on the determined ultrasound image data, generating elastography images based on the determined displacement image data, dividing the elastography images into sections based on a criterion, and determining a representative elastography image of each of the sections based on one or more elastography images in each of the sections and quality information of the one or more elastography images, the quality information being based on a strain of a first elastography image among the one or more elastography images. The method further includes displaying the representative elastography image.
Abstract:
A probe irradiates an ultrasound wave to an object to induce a shear wave and first elasticity information is obtained according to a first calculating scheme. An internal region of interest of the object is set based on shear modulus values included in the first elasticity information. Second elasticity information is obtained based on the shear wave induced to the internal region of interest, according to a second calculating scheme. Accurate elasticity information is acquired by using the first and second elasticity information to obtain third elasticity information from which an elastography image is generated for display to a user.
Abstract:
An ultrasound imaging apparatus and a method for operating the ultrasound imaging apparatus are provided. When providing an elasticity value to a user, the reliability of the elasticity value is provided to the user to enable the user to easily determine whether the elasticity value is an appropriate value.
