A display apparatus is provided. The display apparatus includes a display and a controller. The display is configured to display an image and comprises a touch sensor for touch input during an assigned sensing section. The controller is configured to perform an operation corresponding to the touch input sensed during the sensing section, and to control the touch sensor to adjust the sensing section based on conditions for adjusting the sensing section. With this, the display apparatus and a control method thereof which can efficiently sense, without lowering the speed of sensing, a touch input based on a plurality of pens or fingers is provided.

A system for outputting content through a network includes: a first server configured to store content received in an account of a user; and a second server configured to obtain the content from the first server, convert the content into output data, and transmit the output data to an output device, according to an output request received from a mobile terminal of the user, wherein when the second server receives a request to check the content from the mobile terminal, the second server provides a preview of the content, instead of an original file of the content, to the mobile terminal.

The disclosure relates to a digital whiteboard, the digital whiteboard including: a display; a first sensor configured to detect a touch position of a writing instrument with regard to a screen of the display; a second sensor configured to obtain an image based on image capturing; and a processor configured to identify a target region, in which a motion is present, in the image by comparing a series of images captured by the second sensor, identify a color of the writing instrument in the identified target region, and display an image comprising the identified color, at a position corresponding to a touch of the writing instrument on the screen of the display.Thus, the color of the writing instrument touching the screen of the display is automatically identified, and the traces of the writing instrument are displayed with the identified color on the screen, thereby giving a user an experience as if the user directly writes with the corresponding writing instrument on the digital whiteboard.

A method and a device for amending a handwritten character are provided. The device includes a user input unit, a processor, and a display. The user input unit receives a user input of handwritten characters. The processor is configured to recognize the input handwritten characters, determine respective reference points of the recognized handwritten characters, and align the recognized handwritten characters based on locations of the determined reference points. The display is configured to display the aligned handwritten characters.
Abstract:
A method and apparatus for generating a dewarped document using a document image captured using a camera are provided. The method includes obtaining the document image captures using the camera, extracting text lines from the document image captured using the camera, determining a projection formula to convert positions of respective points constituting the extracted text lines to coordinates projected on a plane of the dewarped document, determining a target function used to calculate a difference between text lines projected on the place of the dewarped document using the projection formula and real text lines, calculating parameters that minimize the target function, and converting the document image to the dewarped document by substituting the calculated parameters into the projection formula.
