Abstract: Methods and devices are provided for ultra-wideband (UWB) communication. A first UWB device generates a discovery message providing information used for discovery of the first UWB device. The first UWB device broadcasts the discovery message through a narrowband (NB) discovery channel. The NB discovery channel is not associated with a UWB channel. The UWB channel is one of a plurality of candidate UWB channels allocated for the UWB communication.
