Abstract: A display device according to the disclosure comprises: a liquid crystal panel having a front surface configured to display an image; and a light source plate disposed at the rear of the liquid crystal panel configured to provide light to the liquid crystal panel, wherein the light source plate comprises: a printed circuit board having a mounting surface; an LED chip directly mounted on the mounting surface as a chip on board (COB); a transparent resin disposed on the LED chip to encompass the LED chip; a light conversion layer configured to convert the wavelength of light emitted from the LED chip and encompassing the outer peripheral surface of the transparent resin; and a barrier layer covering the light conversion layer from the outside.
