    Abstract: A liquid crystal display device of one aspect of the present invention includes a liquid crystal display unit that includes a liquid crystal layer which exhibits vertical alignment and plural picture elements, and a control unit that controls a voltage which is supplied to the liquid crystal display unit. The control unit performs display by sequentially applying a first voltage that corresponds to a larger gradation number than an original gradation number and a second voltage that corresponds to zero gradation respectively in plural subframe periods that result from division of one frame period of an image signal in a case where the original gradation number of the input image signal is a low gradation number that is less than a prescribed threshold value, performs display by applying the second voltage in the one frame period in a case where the original gradation number is the zero gradation, and performs display by applying a third voltage that corresponds to the original gradation number in the one frame period in a case where the original gradation number is a high gradation number that is equivalent to or more than the threshold value.

    Abstract: Provided is a humidity control device capable of stably absorbing and desorbing moisture. The humidity control device includes: a moisture absorber causing a hygroscopic material to come into contact with air so that the hygroscopic material absorbs portion of moisture contained in the air, the hygroscopic material being in liquid and containing water, polyalcohol having hygroscopicity, and metal salt having hygroscopicity; and a composition controller controlling composition of the hygroscopic material. The composition controller controls the composition of the hygroscopic material to be within a range in which the hygroscopic material is capable of absorbing the moisture while the metal salt is kept from being deposited.

    Abstract: An atomizer and a humidity controller that are able to separate water with high atomization efficiency are provided. The atomizer includes: a housing that includes an intake port and a discharge port; an ultrasonic wave generating unit that irradiates at least some hygroscopic liquid stored in the housing and containing a hygroscopic substance with ultrasonic waves and generates atomized droplets containing moisture; and an adjustment unit that adjusts relative humidity to reduce a vapor pressure determined in accordance with the relative humidity to less than a saturated vapor pressure of the hygroscopic liquid in at least a portion of a gas-liquid interface in an inner space of the housing.

    Abstract: An air conditioning device includes: a moisture absorption unit that causes a liquid hygroscopic agent to absorb moisture contained in the air; an atomizing regeneration unit that atomizes the moisture contained in the liquid hygroscopic agent supplied from the moisture absorption unit via a first liquid hygroscopic agent transport flow path, removes the moisture from the liquid hygroscopic agent, and regenerates the liquid hygroscopic agent: an air introduction flow path through which the air is introduced to the moisture absorption unit and the atomizing regeneration unit; a second liquid hygroscopic agent transport flow path through which the liquid hygroscopic agent is transported from the atomizing regeneration unit to the moisture absorption unit; and an air internal pressure rising suppression member that suppresses rising of an internal pressure of the air in the air introduction flow path.
